Quite near the city center and the kitchen inside the room.

The manager was not friendly at all, and there was a problem in paying the rent in Euro - they didn't not take coins and so we ended up in paying more than we were supposed to. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Staff apart from the manager is helpful.

It didn't burn down? What I disliked, on the other hand, was the failure of the advertised wi-fi to work, the complete failure of the staff to do anything about this when I complained, the wiring that was simply dangerous, the mouldy showerhead, the fact that half the cupboards were painted shut and the persistent bad smell of my apartment. I won't say that it described itself dishonestly, as I can't remember how it described itself. I will, however, say that it was a bloody awful place to stay.

Good location close to the center, though it doesn't look like it at first. We booked at the last minute and then tried to email and change the booking but it got complicated as the written English wasn't well understood so try and avoid that, but we turned up anyway and it was ok, though it might be different in the high season. Clean and cheap.

Stayed in a dbl ensuite. Pretty simple and standard. Two dbl beds, a dresser, small desk. Nothing was fancy, but everything was clean, and worked properly. Checking in was a bit interesting, but I did arrive FIRST thing in the morning. You may have to call the "receptionist" from the coffee shop around the corner if you get there real early. Other than that, everything went smooth.

We were given an apartment which was about 5 mins from the hostel, but it was clean and secure.
