Liked: We had a huge problem with Iceland Express and the owner of the guesthouse was so nice and helpful with our problems. It's very close to downtown and is nice and cosy and warm when it's cold outside.

Disliked: Daniel left no negative feedback.

Liked: The family who run the guest house are great. Super friendly and provide all kinds of help booking trips and getting arround

Disliked: nothing really. The wifi didn't always reach my room but that could just be my laptop

Liked: Very cosy and warming. Felt like home. The owner arranges everything quickly and effectively. Makes everything easy when you don't have much time to waste. Very good breakfast. Recommended

Liked: Evelyn was extremely helpful. She gets up at all hours to make sure that people get their breakfast before leaving and got up and served me breakfast when I arrived before 7am! She books all tours and even does your laundry! Can't fault this place at all!

Disliked: Nothing at all - except the name is hard to pronounce!

Liked: Evelyne was super helpful with organising a hire car. The breakfast was great and we were even given a super early one before our flight home. Nice and cosy and warm too.

Disliked: The hot tub didn't appear to be in use, and we booked a double room but the room had two twin beds pushed together instead.

Liked: Great hosts. Very talkative and ready to offer information. Clean big rooms with your own bed and linen. Plenty of room. Sort of like a hotel room. Bed linen was a bit weird, but it was fine. Good location, two minutes walk to centre town. Great breakfast spread. Great value for money. About 20 euros pp/night.

Disliked: The linen was a bit odd. It was clean, it just felt funny. Apart from that it was great.

Liked: The lady that ran the guesthouse was lovely and very helpfull, the location was perfect for downtown Reykjavik.

Liked: The staff is very friendly, personal and service minded. When I stepped in for the first time to check in, I was greeted by first name! I stayed at the house at Tjarnargata, close to the city pond. A rather ordinary house with shared bathroom and kitchen. The house had a very friendly atmosphere and it was easy to get to know other people who where traveling alone. Later during my stay in Reykjavik, I stayed at Grand Hotel and Hotel Cabin. Baldursbra had a much better location, service and was much more praiseworthy than the other hotels I stayed at. For example, the wireless internet was free at baldursbra and worked really well. At Grand, it was only free in the lobby and at Cabin you had to pay WAY TO MUCH to get any internet access at all. It seems like the staff at baldursbra really likes what they are doing. Especially the hostess Evelyn! I will come back.

Disliked: One day I was resting at the porch and had some coffee. I realized after a while that there was quite a lot of dust under the sofa. First I got slightly bothered, but actually it only enhanced the feeling to be at home.

Disliked: The room faced the sun late in the evening and had only very light curtains so it was a bit difficult to sleep.

Liked: The room was nice and clean, as was the bathroom. The location was great in a quiet street but close to all the main sites of rekjavik. Breakfast was lovely.

Disliked: If anything, single beds pushed together to make double. But this was only a very minor issue.
