Liked: The atmosphere was perfect. Evelyne, the hostess looked after us like a mother. She helped us to arrange to rent a car (for a really lower price), found out about buses and planes, gave all the information we needed and not only. She even picked us to the station before our departure.

Liked: Evelyn, the owner, is fantastic. A friendly face to greet you when you arrive at the guesthouse in Reykjavik. Breakfast is fantastic, and the location is only 5 short minute walk to downtown. We loved it so much that we came back to the hostel after we completed the ring road. Great place to stay and very good value for money!

Liked: The staff were very friend and helpful and were willing to assist us in any way possible. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic, and a great way to spend an evening. It's very close to the centre of town and is in easy walking distance to the sights, shops and nightspots.

Liked: Baldursbra must be your first stop over when you get to Iceland. Good location and awesome hot tub. Everlyn and Philip will set you up for your whole trip around Iceland free of charge. Cheers guys and thanks for making our trip of Iceland memorable

Liked: The owners are really nice and helpful, they even got up at 04:00 in the morning to make us breakfast and drive us to the flybus, free of charge! Nice and quite big rooms, especially on the top floor where there's a quite good view of the city as well. We got tons of help with everything from booking tickets to reading seasickness pill instructions in icelandic, very nice place! :)

Liked: Great staff made us feel like part of the family. We were able to crash after an early flight to Iceland. Great location -easy walking distance to downtown. Evelyn got us a great rate for a car rental, and overall made sure any questions we had were answered.

Liked: Even in her absence Evelyn arranged for her guests to be looked after by Thorey, a friend and fellow guesthouse owner. Good breakfast, clean, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for Thorey and Phillipe. Good location and fab jacuzzi

Liked: The most friendly staff i have encountered in my year of travelling throughout europe. They treat you like you are a guest of their family. Excellent location, very clean, solid breakfast and wonderful jacuzzi. The owners also organise all your tour booking needs (even when we arrived there at 1am in the morning). GREAT!!!!

Liked: Evelyn goes out her way to ensure you enjoy your time in Reykjavik. She is very helpful - to the point of coming to our room one morning to ensure we did not miss our tour that day! People were very friendly and shared tips and chatted, this hostel is for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. Excellent value for location and cleanliness.

Liked: The location is great and Evelyn, the owner is fantastic and very friendly and helpful. She treated everyone like family and even made a wonderful dinner for the people staying at the guesthouse for Christmas Eve. The price is so reasonable especially considering that breakfast is included and Evelyn will happily book all of your excursions for you which makes seeing Iceland even easier. It's a wonderful place to stay and I would definitely stay their again!
