Liked: VERY friendly, helpful and welcoming guesthouse. great location just an easy walk into centre of reykjavik. every effort made by staff to help book day trips etc. nice breakfast. very clean. would definately stay here again!

Liked: Evelyne, the kindest lady ever, is the owner. Sooo helpful, whatever time of the day (or night!). She even drove after us to give us some stuff we had left behind as we were leaving on the bus! AWESOME jacuzzi under the stars, cute sauna, and chillout chairs in private garden. Nice rustic rooms, kept clean, with own sinks. Breakfast was great too - fresh local cheeses, yoghurts, fruits, loooads of spreads and jams and well tasty bread to toast. Good coffee whenever. Could do with a games room though! (Dining room has nice comfy tables and benches for playng games on though).Thanks so much Evelyne - you made our stay in Iceland even better than it would have been anyway :D

Liked: Love love loved this place...the rooms are great, the place is so cosy and warm, showers ace....says brekkie is from 7.30-9.30 but the owner made us breakfast on our last day at 4.30am (!!!) and took us to the bus station to catch our airport transfers...and the day we totally slept in she checked with us to see if we still wanted food before she cleared it away. The owner is really lovely and homely...did bubbly and canapes on New Years Eve for all her guests...I soooo didn't want to leave! And that's without me even going on about the hot tub........! Perfection!

Liked: We had a wonderfull stay in Baldursbra Guesthouse, the owner is so wonderful and helpful and tries to make you have a wonderful time, helping with the bookings, giving you advices about the best places to visit and making the trip an enjoyable experience.

Liked: We were at the guest house for New Years Eve and the lovely hostess organised a party for all the guests. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and made new friends. The location of the hostel is excellent. Our hostess is wonderfully helpful with booking tours, she even got us breakfast at 4.30am on the day of our depature due to an early flight and drove us to the bus station. Fantastic experience and would love to return.

Liked: best hostel every stayed in Europe. Evelyne was so friendly that she prepares an awesome breakfast, pick up and drop off from the bus terminal and even contacted the day trip companies. Very friendly, very clean, and very cozy. value for money and will definitely stay again if i return to iceland.

Liked: A wonderful welcoming place to stay. The Fischer's provide a cozy clean haven to bunk down for the night & a nourishing delicious breakfast to start any travellers' day off right. We stayed there on our first evening in Iceland and liked it so much that we have decided to return for our final night.

Liked: The proprietess helped us with all our questions and made several calls on our behalf when we had questions. She was very engaged in her guests and really made sure that we had a good time. That it's possible to take extra food from the breakfast buffet was super!
