Liked: I loved everything! The bed was confortable, all the rooms and bathrooms were really clean, the location was excelent and the owner of the guesthouse is a great person! She was very helpful and kind.

Liked: The location is great, both for bus station, tours and city centre. Evelyn was very helpful and welcoming. She will help you choose tours and will have all the flyers and info you can think of about Iceland. We ended up coming back after driving around Iceland and staying there again! Use the sauna, it's lovely!

Liked: The house is very well located, with a lot of character, excellent serviceand advices from Evelyne the owner, clean and comfortable andin addition a hot pot and a sauna in the lovely back yard.,Will definitely recommend this guesthouse to everybody.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even made sure we had breakfast at 4am before our flight.

Liked: Great location - 5 minutes walk from town centre, beside American embassy, quiet location. Evelyne (owner) was helpful and nice. Breakfast was nice and filled you up until midday - toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, boiled eggs, tea/coffee.

Disliked: Complimentary "Airport pickup" is misleading. Evelyne picks you up in her car from the BSI bus station (once you've already paid £19 for the FlyBus to drive you 40 minutes from the airport). "Airport pickup" led us to believe she'd pick us up from the actual airport, thus saving us the FlyBus cost. The rooms are very basic, the loos were pretty dingy and smelled. While I realize Iceland is extortionate in most respects, Baldursbra was equally expensive for its value. However, it's good just for sleeping and breakfast and we'd still stay there again as most other places are expensive too!

Liked: Close to the city center and they can arrange a lot of things for you.

Disliked: We made reservation and when we arrived in the middle of the night all room were occupied. They first had to move a person from a double room before we could get a room.

Liked: The french family, who owns the house was really friendly and very helpful. I felt myself very comfortable, almoust like at home. It's sutuated close to the main church and just about 5 minutes to the main shopping street. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone comung to Rejkjavik.

Liked: The owners were very friendly and helpful. I arrived at 8 am and they allowed me to check in early and have breakfast when I got there. They also helped me figure out how to place an international call using my calling card. I can't express how great it was that this guesthouse had a phone in the room! This is extremely important for a solo international traveller, and this is the only place I stayed at (both hotels and guesthouses) that had a phone in the room.

Disliked: Not at the center of town, but the walk isn't too far either.

Liked: Great location, really clean and the hotel owners couldn't have helped more. Only a 10 minute walk from the BSI bus station and only 10 minutes from the centre of Reykjavik. I would recommend this hotel.

Liked: The beds we comfortable and clean, the location good.

Disliked: Owner rarely there, hard to get hold of her. There is an intercom system that you can use to reach her, but she doesnt always respond. When she is there though, she is very helpful. Expensive for what it is. A week after our stay here, we stayed in another place, that was the same standard but right in town, for less than half the price.
