Liked: Friendly people running this guesthouse and a really good breakfast. Also the location is really great; quit location and near the city center.

Liked: Very great owner couple. She is a gem! Easy walking to all of Reykjavik. Great value esp. a good breakfast!

Disliked: Somewhat spartan room decor. Pillows and towels could use updating.

Liked: Breakfasts are unbelieveable - such a nice spread to choose from. I likedd the breakfast room and availability of internet.

Liked: Quite good location. Adequate breakfast. Helpful staff for information, advice and, if required, booking tours. Very reasonable price.

Disliked: Hot water had a smell of sulphur but this may be the case almost everywhere in Iceland.

Liked: Baldursbrá is a very nice small guesthouse run by a friendly french family, that was helpfull whatever we wanted to know. Especially the breakfast was very good and I had problems to stop eating.

Disliked: The only thing that was not that good was the Internet. They have internet access, but it is very slow and you can only use it in one room, what can be a bit disturbing.

Liked: This place was charming as were the owners who were always willing to help with any travel plans. The breakfast was nice and fresh and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The rooms were stellar and the back yard with the hot tub and sauna were a definite plus.

Disliked: There truly was nothing to dislike about this place.

Liked: Master of the guesthouse is so nice she even offer the breakfast when we will leave at 400 at the morning.

Liked: Extremely clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful, not to mention trustworthy staff!

Disliked: There was a slight misunderstanding about the free bus transfer to Keflavik airport. Should have made that bit clear in the website itself because people thought the cost of the airport transfer is already included.

Liked: Loved Baldursbra! Evelyne was so helpful and kind. Delicious big breakfast served every morning. Met some fun people also staying at this guesthouse. Excellent location, 5 minute walk to the main street.

Liked: We stayed for 2 nights in Jan 2011 and would definitely recommend this guesthouse. Very clean and tidy. Very close to the main street - less than 5 min by foot. Excellent breakfast included. Great value for money. Great host - we arrived at 2am due to a delayed flight and it was no problem.

Disliked: Nothing. I've just noticed the website says the property has a jacuzzi - we didn't know that but we probably wouldn't have used it anyway.

Liked: A really great place with lovely hosts. Thanks again Evelyne and Philip for organizing such a nice New Year's party! Great place to meet people as well, lovely hot tub in the garden and very close to downtown, easy to walk to everywhere. Amazingly low price! I would come back for sure if I will go back to Iceland!

Liked: The owner is a very helpful lady and there is a hot tub! Also, the owner is very helpful in arranging trips and driving you to the bus station and Rekyavik local airport.

Disliked: The Airport pickup is actually a little misleading. Keflavik Airport os about 50 kilometres from Rekyavik, so if you are flying into Keflavik you will need to get the Flybus (1950k) from there to the BSI where Evelyne the Hostel owner will pick you up. So it isnt exactly as free as it sounds!

Liked: It's got a great location, (although it's not exactly a huge city, still, this guesthouse is about ten minutes from the art-house cinema, the main shopping street and a big beautiful church that you can go up to the top of and see the whole city) lovely and cosy and warm and did great breakfasts every morning. Run by nice people too.

Disliked: The only things I can think of are that sometimes I found the keys a bit stiff in the door, and you can only access the wi-fi from downstairs. That's just silly minor stuff though.
