Liked: Nice calm accomodation, the nearby domestic airport is not really disturbing.

Disliked: Rather far from downtown Reykjavik, but a bus can be caught in front if the house.

Liked: The guesthouse was quiet and very clean. The only downside is that it is rather remote. Since the city bus seems not to exist this means a 20 minute walk is necessary to get anywhere.

Liked: It is new and clean, modern, very good quality service, nice stuff. Spacious rooms. Like home place, furnished with care, and great taste. It's not located in the center, but there is a bus stop few steps away from door, bus 12 goes straight to main street of Reykjavik. Walking distance to the center is truly 15 - 20 min,it is very nice walk if it's not raining ;)

Liked: The landlady and landlord were extremely helpful and friendly and the shared kitchen is a fantastic place to meet people, have warm up drinks and helps cut your cost of living by cooking you're own meals.It's a little out the way but it does only take twenty minutes to walk into town so who cares! I will defiantly be returning here soon for some more Cod, breniven and Puffin fun times.

Liked: the hostel was very well priced and in an excellent location near the ocean. we ended up doing a lot of walking back and fourth and even though it was a long walk from the guesthouse to the main part of town it was a beautiful walk. It was also nice that all tours we took picked us up right at the door.

Liked: This hostel was wonderful! My friend and I booked a twin share and it ended up being a little apartment type thing with kitchen and bathroom and little livingroom! It was a wonderful cottage type place and was really clean and the Lady who owns it is so friendly and helpful! Unfortunately we stayed in Iceland for the one night but if we had of been there longer than that place would have been just perfect being a 5 min walk from the centre and also 5 mins or even 2 from the main bus stop where all the great tours leave from. Great place!!

Liked: Very clean. Hosts were very helpful with taxi arrangements when needed, and knowledgeable about the city. They were also very accomodating regarding assistance, stating that I could knock on their door as late as 11:00 pm.
