Nicolas SansoneThe hostel was too far out of the center of town to be convenient. The dorm room was cramped and not especially tidy; there are certainly better budget options in Reykjavik. |

Chris SuppaThe staff are very helpful and the free breakfast is nice. However it's a bit out of the way, far from downtown, and not very many people aged 18-30. |

Customer reviewGreat place to stay!! Even though it is a few miles away from City Center we were able to catch the bus and get there fast. The staff was friendly and always willing to help out and recommend different things to do. |

Lance VanTressThe Capital Inn; it's closer than you think. Reykjavik's newest shopping mall is just a short walk away, where you can take a bus anywhere for just a few Kroner. There are walking/biking paths throughout the city; a great way to get a little exercise and save some money. Reykjavik's a PARTY town with clubbing all night long, so bring your dancing shoes. Iceland is like the Hawaii of Europe with so many things to see and do there just isn't enough time. I am having such a great time in Reykjavik I have decided to stay here at The Capital Inn a another week before I set out on my camping trip around Iceland. |

Lance VanTressNew. New. New! Everything has been renovated. Terrific living accommodations with LARGE rooms, hot showers and free internet. All the guests, including myself, are surprised at how nice this place is for the low price value. The new owner, Arni, and his friendly staff are very helpful in seeing that my questions and concerns where quickly taken care of. No Worries. |

Customer reviewI would like to say the guess house is a quiet place. It is quite near to Perlan and Kinglan Shopping Centre, but it is not near to city hall and down town. I will recommend it if you are not going to city hall or down town frequently. The air circulation is just okay because the rooms are in the basement, but it is okay for a short stay (one to few days) though. The kitchen and rooms are clean, hot water is provided. I think it is worth of money. |

Adam HughesCapital Inn is the cheapest hostel in Iceland. The location is not in the city but its only a short ride (£10) away. Nice quiet area. 10 min stroll to the thermal beach and a bus ride away from the viking restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend. |
