Friendly budget accommodation near Reykjavik city center. Garður Inn has been a favorite with travelers for many years, and continues to bring the best value accommodation.

The Capital-Inn welcomes you during your stay in Iceland. The guesthouse was renovated spring 2009 and prepared itself for the coming seasons.

The Capital-Inn provides you with a central location in Reykjavík and is ideal for smaller groups and independent travelers.

The Capital-Inn’s spacious and newly renovated rooms are equipped with TV, washbasin and free wireless internet access throughout the building. Facilities for cooking and storing food are at hand. Please note that most of the rooms have shared facilities.

The mixed bunk bed dorms accommodate 4, 8 and 12 persons in a room. The bathrooms are shared.

Please note that the rate is per dorm bed per night. Breakfast is not included.
The Inns experienced owner and employees will gladly help you with any issue that might occur, before or during your stay, such as booking you on tours, getting information and just make your stay more pleasant.

Location Information

The Capital-Inn provides you with a central location in Reykjavík and is ideal for smaller groups and independent travelers, 4 minute walk from the Perlan with its fabulous observation platform over central Reykjavik.

At Perlan you will find a well known revolving fine dining restaurant and cafeteria. From the Inn it is a quick 5 minute drive to the city center and few minute walk to Reykjavik’s main shopping mall Kringlan.

The Inn is a leisurely walk from Reykjavik´s beach with geothermal heated seawater. Situated in Fossvogur next to walking paths in one of Reykjavik´s out-door paradise that extends from the shore line for miles inland. Just down the street is a small convenient store with light snacks and a KFC fast food diner.
