The staff are pleasant and helpful. The kitchen and bathrooms are well ordered and have everything you need.

The hostel is located on Laugavegur, the main shopping street. We are affiliated with Iceland‘s longest running adventure company, Arctic Adventures, and our guests can choose from great offers on their tours.
Our staff can provide expert information on what to do, see and experience during your stay and will gladly arrange some activities for our guests. With our unbeatable location and prices in a lively hostel we make it our priority to make your stay as pleasant as possible! See you in Iceland!
Accommodation Information
Reykjavík Backpackers offers dorms with 4-8 bunks in each room and private rooms for 2 persons. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities located on the centre of each floor so it is well within reach for all guests.
The hostel has a private backyard and balconies open for the guests to relax, BBQ or enjoy the fresh air. Our bar and café is an ideal place to meet up with fellow travellers for a drink & snack!
We provide a 24-hour check service in and free internet access. The hostel does not lock up for those coming or staying out late, but guests are not allowed to disturb others between 10 pm and 8 am. All the beds have clean sheets. Pillow, duvets and other bed linen can be provided, but are not included in the price. Guests can also rent towels for their stay.

Reykjavík Backpackers is located on Laugavegur, the main shopping street in the heart of Reykjavík City. The downtown area offers most of Reykjavik‘s finest museums, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs and all within walking distance.
All the main city bus routes stop within 200 metres from the hostel and BSÍ, the main bus stop is only a 15 minute walking distance.
