Location Information

Garður Inn is an ideal starting point for the travelers who would like to discover Iceland culturally as it is located in University of Iceland area and just beside the National Museum of Iceland. There is a beautiful walking path in nature, as well as to the seashore.

Tjornin pond where is famous with feeding ducks and swans can be seen from the building. Also, Reykjavik's symbolic church and the dorm "Perlan" can be seen from some rooms and stairs.

Situated in a quiet area and still in walking destance to the Laugavegur main shopping street, BSI bus terminal, cafes, bars, restaurants, museums, churches, bakeries and supermarkets.
