Brimnes Family Cabins

Welcome to the Brimnes family cabins, fully furnished holiday cottages all equipped with a lounge, kitchenette, bathroom, a bedroom on the ground floor and a sleeping loft. A great place for any travellers.

Hotel Brimnes offers accommodation in eleven double rooms with bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a restaurant and a bar.
You can also choose to stay in Finnish-style cabins by the small-boat harbour at the northern end of the lake Ólafsfjarðarvatn close to the hotel. These cabins expanded the hotel's accommodation capacity from 22 beds to 58.

There are eight of these cabins.
The first two consist of two double rooms, sharing a bathroom, witha hot tub on the veranda. The next two are the same type, but with one double room, bathroom and a "living room" with cooking facilities and a sleeping couch, and a hot tub on the veranda.

Then come two "family cabins" for families or groups. These are fully furnished holiday cottages with a lounge, kitchenette, bathroom, a bedroom on the ground floor and a sleeping loft. There are beds for five, and two extra mattresses can be provided. There is a hot tub on the veranda. The price for these cabins includes bed linen and towels but not breakfast.

The last two are also "family cabins", same types as above, but with 3 double rooms.. one downstairs and two upstairs.

Delicious seafood dishes are available in the hotel restaurant, and in particular the saltfish prepared in Mediterranean style. Meat dishes based on Icelandic lamb and beef are also on the menu, and last but not least the best pizzas in town.
