The Fit Hostel/Guesthouse is situated in Njarðvík and offers good and affordable accommodation for everyone. The international airport in Keflavík is only 5 minutes away by car wich makes this hostel/guesthouse a suitable choice for people travelling to and from Iceland.
Welcome to the Fit Hostel/Guesthouse!
Fit Hostel/Guesthouse is a former apartment building which was changed in the year 2003, to an attractive hostel with various facilities. The Hostel/ Guesthouse offers sleeping bag and made up beds accommodation in 29 rooms. The rooms are not ensuite but bathrooms are available on all floors.

The area of Reykjanes has many recreational options for people of all ages. Hiking around the area is a good way to enjoy nature as well as finding more about Icelandic culture on many historical sites.
Here in Reykanes we have two heated outdoor swimming pools, the famous Blue Lagoon, excellent area at Garðskagi for birdwatching, hot springs, the Bridge Across Continents, and two companies that offer whale watching and sea angling. Golf course, go-kart and museums.
Njarðvík:
The three towns of Njarðvík, Keflavík and Hafnir were joined together in the municipality of Reykjanesbær in the year 1994. These towns were built up around the fish industry but today has mostly been replaced by tourist related and service jobs.
Iceland is forming on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (since volcanoes in Iceland are still active).
Landscape in the area of Reykjanes is distinguishable by volcanic activity in the forms of mountains made of palagonite that were formed under ice or water and many layers of lava.
