Liked: We stayed in a cottage. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us.

Disliked: The two bedrooms are side by side and the wall is paper thin. Also, there was barely enough hot water for one shower so it was difficult to time multiple showers in a row.

Liked: A quaint nights stay in an otherwise empty guesthouse. Access to a kitchen and lounge.

Liked: Lots of space and nice interior. Also a giant kitchen.

Disliked: Owners seemed to be unaware of our booking and some of the advertised services had been shut down for winter but overall a lovely stay and great value.

Liked: BEAUTIFUL SETTING! About 5 minutes outside of town surrounded by the beautiful farm country with mountains in the distance. We will stay here again if we stop back by this way again.

Liked: beautifil peaceful setting.Excellent self catering facilities but guests can also indulge in the hotel restaurant menu if they don't want to cook.Wonderful staff- friendly nad spoke excellent English

Disliked: Beds slightly too narrow on room & room small but ok for a night although bigger built people may struggle fitting in the the double room. Curtains v flimsy so did not block out the light

Liked: Great place, however we were fishing from 07.00 to 23.00 so never really had a chance to enjoy the facilities. The cabin was excellent

Liked: it's really close to eyjafjallllla..... whatever. you have to be really careful on the route, you will see only a smaratun table. internet is 500 isk for the whole stay, but works only in the hotel, not in the guesthouse. a family is living on the groundfloor of the guesthouse, they can be a little bit noisy. wifi in the guesthouse is their own, you cannot have access to it.

Liked: Was bitten by the owners German Shepherd guarding the reception door. A good start!Breakfast was included. Kitchen facilities were good. Had to pay for wi-fi.

Liked: We stayed at Westfarm and it was incredible! it is definitely value for money. We had a hotpot by the house, which we of course used. You could see the glacier from the house. It is located in the middle of nowhere which is great for relax, but still it can be reached easily. Will come back definitely!

Liked: Nice location with great views. Nice Icelandic horses on site. Hotel facilities (dinner and breakfast) available to chalet guests. Chalet cooking facilities v limited - only a kettle in the chalet. Though a small guest kitchen is available nearby. Great for a one or two night stay in a very scenic part of Iceland. Might be a bit too cosy for longer.
