Liked: What a wonderful, positive introduction to Iceland. The setting is quiet and rural (as are most places outside of Reykjavik). We enjoyed a breath-taking sunset - viewed from the hot tub. Our hostess is charming, welcoming and enthusiastic about sharing Iceland, and helpful with suggestions for our travels. A home-prepared breakfast makes it difficult to leave ....

Liked: The location, ideal to visit some interesting places near it.

Disliked: I paid for one double room with breakfast because that was what Hostelbookers says that the price included, but my surprise was the breakfast was not included in the price! I talked to the owner and she said that she never included the breakfast in the price so if I wanted, I had to pay for it. It´s the first time that it happen to me with you.

Disliked: That we were able to book on HostelBookers.com although the property is closed for winter currently and thus knew nothing of our booking on arrival.

Liked: Nice Location and Spa

Disliked: Owner tried to make us pay twice and came into or room twice in morning around 8.30am and 9am asking us to leave early as an Auntie needed our room even though we were the only people staying in the guesthouse... and check out was 12 noon..........a bit strange.

Liked: Amazing breakfast, nice room, very kind and helpful hostess, and a pleasantly scenic setting. The hot tub is fantastic too.

Disliked: If you don't have your own transport, it's difficult to do much unless you hitch-hike.

Liked: nice place, houselady speaks perfect fluently German, very nice area around, very helpful hints for local attractions and horseriding, DELICIOUS breakfast with homemade bread and marmelade in the family's house. Free WLAN. I would like to stay there again during my next Iceland vacation.
