Liked: A great escape - get off the beaten track and you'll find charming, warm & welcoming Icelandic hospitality. A thermal bath, taken under a star lit sky - I can't think of a better way to end the day. Our host was a lovely lady, very kind and attentive - we left Heydalur feeling relaxed, well fed & very well rested. There are no guest cooking facilities but the home made food is delicious and certainly worth spending a little bit extra.

Liked: Fantastic location. Natural hot pot. Many activities available.No cooking facilities in the room : since the place is in the middle of nowhere, you have to go to the restaurant for dinner.
