If you are sick of backpacking from big city to big city and feeling like you're drowning in a sea of tourists - this is the place to go!! Eva and Alan are great... extremely accommodating and fun to talk to. They will feed you exceptional homegrown food for cheap. It's a great place to have a couple days off ... but don't expect the world to be at your fingertips.

I loved the experience of peaceful time on a small organic farm surrounded by ducks, pigs and goats!
I loved how personal and friendly it was and they even let me milk a goat! We were given fresh goats milk and cheese too!
Its not really a hostel - its an organic farm with woofers and guests sharing a second farm house.
Its 1 hour by bus to get supplies but they will cook meals for a few euro each.

Eco-hun is a fantastic small homely hostel in the Hungarian countryside. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds (no bunks!) and a very warm welcome is guaranteed! Well worth a visit to get away from it all for a few days!

We had a great time. It was a lovely place to go and get away from the cities and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful town. The owners were really friendly and it was like being part of the family. I will be going back on day. Also you can help with the farming if you want and we got to milk goats.

There are friendly hosts who try and make the most of your experience there i.e. activities and opening their own home as well as the hostel part of the farm.

Great location for getting away from the city hopping that is hard to get away from when travelling around. Busy still easy to get to-very close to Pecs. Fresh air, country walks, family atmosphere, comfy rooms, get involved in organic farm life, see the real Hungary and relax in the sunshine whilst drinking some local wine. Really enjoyed the 4 nights we spent here and would recommend it!
