Liked: Spacious and suitable for self catering groups, friendly staff, quite surrounds.

Disliked: Distance from town and amenities but they offered to pick us up from bus station. WIFI access but no onsite computers.

Liked: The owner picked us up from the train station without us even asking. We were greeted with a smile and enthusiastic hand shake. This is not a typical Hostel, more like a guest house, with medium to large rooms, big beds, free coffee, wifi and easy access to the centre of town. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Liked: nice room, owner is friendly and picked us up from the train station at request.

Disliked: bit far away from town but walkable. Also we were the only ones in the hotel, but this was because of low season.

Liked: It was one of the best hostels i have ever been!!! Its clean, nice athmosphere and very friendly staff!!!!

Liked: Located in a quiet back street, feels like your staying in someones home, great kitchen and common area, fantasic hosts.

Disliked: Only the the uphill climb to the Hostel, but they offer pick up from the train station which is good.

Liked: Everything was very nice there. They give us map and show the interesting places in the city and they were very friendly and helpful. Our room was excelent, we had privacy. And there is also a big dininig room and terrace. The city also surpiced us, it was vert nice stay there.

Liked: Staff were lovely including free pick up and drop off from the train station and the room was great. They provided us with great information about what to do during our stay and the restaurant choices were high quality. Thank you very much we loved our stay and will have no hesitation staying again if we are back in Eger.

Liked: Very nice rooms, not a typical hostel but more of a bed and breakfast guest house. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a nice patio in back to relax on. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the main town square which isn't too bad. The owner, Gyorgy was very helpful and picked us up at the train station, arranged for a taxi to take us back to the train and gave us directions to everything we needed in the town.

Liked: I was welcomed by a very friendly and helpful couple. The pension is a pleasant house with several wooden floors, breakfast is served in a big, sunny room on the first floor. The pension is in a small street on the heights of Eger city centre, and all the attractions are within walking distance, with several pubs and restaurants along the road that goes all the way down to the city centre.

Liked: Very nice and comfortable place ! Susanna picked us from the station to pension for free. It's not so far from city center : 10 min from citadelle maximum (slow walking) Very good breakfast :) Easy access to internet.

Disliked: Nothing. The owner made everything to make us feel good.

Liked: The penzion itself is lovely and bright and Georges is a very gracious and accommodating host. It is located in a residential neighbourhood, a steep climb from the city centre , but if you're not up to that, taxis are reasonably priced and Georges was kind enough to pick us up at the train station for free. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio after returning from our touring and our breakfast (not included in price) was great. I would definitely recommend this penzion to anyone travelling to Eger.

Disliked: I liked everything! Being a little out of the city centre allowed us to see some lovely gardens.
