About Jimi Hendrix
The guesthouse has bright and spacious, clean rooms. Free breakfast and free wifi is included in almost every room rate (except the apartment and studio bookings). If you stay with us you can expect an easygoing, friendly staff to assist you and give you all the information and tips you need to know about Budapest.
We do not have 24 hours reception. Arrival after 20.00 pm is only possible with our own airport pickup service, for 18 Euros (up to 4 people). It is cheaper than the regular taxi.
A 4% city tax applies to all rates.
In special periods, New Year's Eve, Easter, Sziget Festival, Formula One, we only accept fully prepaid, non-refundable reservations.
All our rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. All our rooms are spacious, bright and clean. They all have a television with loads of satellite channels. Free Wifi internet is available in every room and the common areas.
You can select from double, triple or family room (for 4 people) and an apartment (for up to 6 people!).
The apartment is bookable for up to 6 people, it is very large, 80 square metres. There is an American kitchen in it with a spacious lounge, and a newly renovated beautiful bathroom. Each of the bedrooms has a double bed and a single bed in it, as well as cable TV and free wifi.
The studio has a different location: it is in Raday street, about 3 minutes walk from Kalvin Ter, or from the Jimi base. There is a loft double bed in it, a bathroom, a kitchenette, cable TV, and of course free wifi. If you book the studio, you'll have to notify the time of your arrival.
The Jimi Hendrix Guesthouse is 300 metres from Kálvin tér metro station, which is on the line when you come from the airport.
All the night public transport is available in 3 minutes walk from here. In 10 minutes walk you can reach the Hungarian National Museum, the Danube riverbank, the famous Ruin Pubs, restaurants and bars, all the main attractions in the city.
The guesthouse has the best location because most of the attractions of the city are in walking distance. However if you need public transport, tram stops, bus stops and metro stations are very near.
This is what you can find nearby:
- The Central Market hall
- Ruin Pubs
- Indoor and outdoor restaurants, bars, cafés
- Metro line 3 and 2
- 24-hour grocery shop
- Post box and post office
