About Gaia Hostel

Having four rooms on the 4th floor of a downtown building, we provide a cosy, comfortable environment for all those travelers who find it important to have a location close to both sights and nightlife.

There is NO curfew and lockout, as we provide all our guests with their own keys to the hostel and room.

Check-in to the hostel is possible at any time on your date of arrival, but please note that since check-out time from the rooms is 11:00 AM, your room may not be ready before this time.


Having no 24 hour reception please let us know in all cases of the details of your arrival (train name - flight number, arrival time at the train/ bus terminal or airport.)

Location Information

We are on Kossuth Lajos Street in the 5th district, about 100 meters from both major metro lines in the city. Being in the historical and cultural centre of the city we are surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shopping areas and historical sights, like the Gellert Spa, the Citadel, St. Stephens Cathedral or the Central Market Hall. The Danube river is just a few minutes from us. The famous "Ruin Bars" are also walking distance.
The international train station and the airport is easy to reach within 40 minutes.
