 I loved the staff. They were are so friendly and helpful! The atmosphere was also great and the location was prime!

The rooms were pretty big - no bunks... And it was so quiet at night! The staff were also soo friendly and helpful, one of the owners volunteered to ring up some guesthouses for the towns i was next visiting! On the downside, there were no lockers to keep my things safe, but since everyone left their stuff out, it felt quite safe anyway.

location was best in the city, staff is very friendly but it was impossible to find- it's a big apartment rather than a standard hostel.

We stayed in the private double room and this was nicely quiet, with the kitchen next door, it had the feeling of your own apartment. Great location. An improvement would be an extra shower and toilet.

It was a nice hostel eith a nice staff. It is almost in the center of Budapest, but in the same time in a quiet place. And that was nice. We were two people at holiday, and had a room to ourself. It was nice to try a hostel instead of a expensive hotel. The hostel is near a supermarket,bakery,subway...all that we needed. Thank you for a pleasent stay!

the owner was great and helpful an even brought us for less money than an taxi to the airport. staff was always friendly and eager to satisfy. the bathroom and the toilet were cleaned regulary through out the day. it s a quiet small and cosy hostel, closed to a tourist promenade. the only down side is the shower- it s bloody freezing most of the time.

The Staff are very friendly and can help you on any problemsyou may have or even give some ideas of where to and where not to visit. Great location and easy access to trams and busses to get you everywhere in the city you would want!

The staff was really friendly, they gave us a lot of informations about secret places and local spots, they even took us out, shared their wine with us, everything. The manager even gave his medicine to me for free, as I was still suffering from bad cold. They were just great! The hostel itself is really wonderful, it's very cosy and makes you feel at home. We really fell in love with Maxim Hostel and Budapest!!!

This hostel was fantastic - its like staying at your mates flat. The owner and his staff are wonderful, really helpful and know a lot about the city. Great location off a busy street with lots of cool bars. So refreshing to not have bunkbeds!

Zsolt made me feel like i was back in my own country at some friend' s house, it was like we knew each other from before and the same the feeling with Sonia & Monika . Travellers in the hostel were fun to talk to .

The most wonderful staff who make you feel like part of the family and have heaps of suggestions on what to see and do, where to go out for a good night, how to get around the city easily - just fantastic!
