Liked: Perfectly placed! Lovely apartment in a peaceful residential area, 10 minutes walk from the business of Margaret island and one of the main tram lines and loads of bars and shops...and 200 meters from the Danube river! No real services, but I wouldn't expect this when staying in an apartment. There was however loads of really helpful information in the apartment about the city- maps leaflets, city guides and telephone numbers to help you around Budapest. The owner was really helpful, leaving his contact number available if we needed anything. A cool guy!

Liked: The apartment was lovely and had everything you need for a city break. We cooked ourselves dinner (with supplies from the Great Market) a couple nights and had breakfast most mornings as well. The bathtub was great after a long day.

Disliked: We always struggle with a hand-held shower but it was a minor problem.

Liked: EVERYTHING! We loved the full kitchen, washing machine was easy to use, bath tub was fantastic (we want one) and it fit two people, bed was very comfortable, heating worked great. Honestly, no complaints. In fact we took two brochures; one for us to refer back to when we come back and one for the parents who also love Budapest.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

Liked: Perfect location. Great owner. NIce, clean, handy... Well conected with public transport. Some great restaurants and bars in less than few steps away....

Disliked: Maybe the only doen side is view from the famous balconies and neighbours.

Liked: Absolutely stunning apartment! If you are a couple this apartment is PERFECT. It's beautiful, fully equipped and well just amazing. We stayed for three nights and it was easily our favorite stop of the entire trip. We come to Budapest every couple years to visit family and Balcony Apartment is definately going to be our goto place. We have already recommended it to everyone we know. Great value for the money.

Disliked: The neighbours were sometimes a little unfriendly but not hostile or anything.

Liked: This large appartement is really close to the city center and surrounded by a huge number of bars and restaurants. Despite its cheapness, it guarantees luxurious living (two balconies, a kitchen, TV and Laptop and a big bathtub. Besides, the staff was really helpful by showing us around and suggesting what to do in the city.

Liked: Beautiful place to base yourself, the apartment is lovely and the owner friendly and helpful. It is close to everything, and easy to get to from Keleti train station.

Disliked: Nothing. If you want to meet other people, this isn't the place for you. If you want a place to relax when you've done exploring, this is ideal.

Liked: Amazing place to stay. Stayed with my girlfriend for a week. Loved the location, 15 mins walf from the train station from the airport. 5 mins walk to the nearest trams. Clean appartment, all the kitchen equiptment you can need to make it feel like a home away from home. Nice big bath, bed was comfy, balcony to have coffee in the morning.... WIFI... what more could you ask for at a bargain price. Quiet neighbourhood, nice fruit and veg shop out the front and shop across the road. Would definatly recomend to anyone!

Disliked: Little bit hard to find in the first place. If any trouble just ring Akos. Lift didnt work on my last day but its an appartment block so i dont think this should even be catered into the review. Akos has put so much effort into making the guests feel at home. Amazing stay. loved it.

Liked: A spacious comfortable apartment in a convenient location to sites. A good opportunity to see how Budapest people live.

Disliked: A bit of confusion in the beginning as they is no sign. The woman in the fruit shop next door helped us by phoning the manager and he arrived promptly.

Disliked: Attention: This is not a hostel!!! It's an apartment, and it's a damn great one. Just if you're after meeting other people, it may not be the right thing for you.

Liked: Even though we arrived some hours before we thought we would, Akos showed up quickly when we called and explained how everything worked in a most friendly manner. He rented us two bikes for a "freinds'" price and we were even allowed to use them on the last morning for free!With such a nice apartment and such a sweet landlord, who could complain?

Disliked: The kitchen came with everything except a toaster (I like toast!) and the stairwell of the apartment building was not very clean.

Liked: Perfect!, good location, great view to a nice garden, very quiet and comfortable, great location! Akos (owner of the apart.) was very nice! everything is included there even a laptop!, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is awesome, and generally its the ultimate place to stay, if you come as a couple or just 2 friends.

Liked: Sehr schön gepflegte Wohnung, optimal eingerichtet, beste Erreichbarkeit von City und Peripherie, da ÖVM praktisch vor der Haustüre. Wahnsinnig nette und lockere Vermieter und ein absolut angenehmes Klima. Kann ich nur empfehlen, 5 Sterne, wenn nicht noch wesentlich mehr! Sehr gerne wieder.

Liked: This place was amazing; very clean, spacious, good location, extremely friendly/helpful owner. The apt is as described and better! Its like having an apt away from home, very cozy with all the amenities for comfort such as washing machine, mobile phone, free wifi and a provided laptop, cable tv, kitchen. The owner, Akos, was extremely nice, professional, and helpful to our needs. This place by far was the best place i've stayed during my 3 wks of backpacking in Europe. We were extremely fortunate to find this gem on the last minute in Budapest. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Budapest, and would absolutely recommend this place to friends/family who visit Budapest. The apt is in a perfect location, right by the Danube River, across from Margaret Island, and within walking distance of all major sights such as Buda castle, parliament, royal palace, ect. We enjoyed a nice walk along the Danube. We love this place and anyone who stay here will have a most memorable and comfortable time in Budapest!! Many thanks to Akos...

Liked: I dont know which is better....the apartment, or Akos, who rents it to you!!! Couldnt have asked for a nicer person, or nicer apartment! Right by the river, so long walks strolling down the Danube is literally a short block away, lovely neighborhood, and steps from all sorts of transportation. If you need suggestions on where to go and what to do, Akos has the answers for everything from must see attractions to where to get the best local food, and stocks the house full of guides and maps, even a complimentary cell phone to make navigating and exploring the city at your fingertips. For a night in, the full kitchen is there for your disposal, as is the best part of the apartment....the tub room! He put a lot of care and attention to little details in the house to make you feel at home. I felt so so lucky to have stumbled upon this gem of a place, and person, to welcome my stay in Budapest and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a personal experience in Hungary.

Liked: The apartment is amazing! We enjoyed the garden so much, having breakfasts and dinners in the large balcony. So nice to wake up for birds singing! The kitchen is perfect for cooking, the bathroom is a fab with the corner bath tub. Wi-Fi, laptop and a mobile phone is provided to use. Perfect location as well.Can not wait to come to Budapest again!
