The layout was good and the place was tidy but its a little bit out of town, on the outskirts of Buda side which meant spending about 600 Forinks a day on transport.

the laid back atmosphere, the free beer on arrival, the friendly and extremely helpful staff, who were on hand 24h. The location isn't the greatest, however transport in Budapest is excellent and so it was never really an issue, even staying out for drinks in the city centre.

the staff were really helpfull and friendly even at 7 in the morining and the atmosphere is really chilled out, perfect after a long day of travelling and sight seeing they'll even order in pizza for you

great athmosphere. only negative was that en-suite did not mean exclusive use of a bathroom in your bedroom - just that there was a bathroom between a few rooms.

The Staff was very Friendly and helpful from morning to night and always with a smile ! And they had a good bar and nice garden:-)

We really liked the staff. Especially Csabi. He was a great guy although the time we were there he had to do his job with a broken arm. Anytime we needed anything he helped us without any question.

Very friendly staff, very funny place to have party (almost every night) and to meet people from all around the world.. If I will come back in Budapest, I'll go surely to the Grand Hostel again

The staff would help you with anything even rent you bikes. It is a funky, popular hangout with great drinks and amazing atmosphere.
