Liked: I liked the decor and the staff was very nice.

Disliked: The beds are not bunk beds which is great except the rooms are really big and the beds are not seperated all that much, makes you feel very exposed. There were only two showers. They also did not say that they had cats, I am not allergic but is anyone is do not stay here. Also the kitchen is available to guests but the place feels so much like someone elses house that it makes using the kitchen awkward

Liked: The bedrooms are spacious and although the bedroom I stayed in has 8 beds it feels very private. The staff clean everything periodically. The decoration of the rooms in an hindu fashion makes this hostel really unique.

Disliked: Pablo left no negative feedback.

Liked: Occasionally a hostel is more than just a place to live, it actually makes the experience of touring a city all the more enjoyable. The first night I stayed at Mandala hostel I was struck by how nice the room and location was, and then the owners invited all the guests out to a bar. I can't think of a single bad night I had at this hostel, the atmosphere is wonderful, the room sizable, and just generally it was a great place to stay and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: Mandala Hostel has a really nice homely feel to it, very easy to relax in. On arrival, I was given a great introduction and was told everything I needed to know about Budapest. I found all the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. I can imagine some people might appreciate this hostel more than others, but I don't think many will deny that it's a great place to stay.

Liked: exelente ambiente, muy acogedor y amigable, el lugar es realmente muy agradable y el personal esta siempres dispuesto a ayudar.. un gran pequeño hostel

Disliked: no se puede entrar con zapatos.. pero supongo que hace un poco a la magia del lugar..

Disliked: es ist familier,laessig,nachlaessig gefuert,an der tuer haben alle ihre schuhe abzustellen,okay,doch spinngewebe,30 cm,schwebte ueber mein bett an der decke,ein waeschetrockenstaender steht 5tage an meinem bett,internet ecke im dunkeln,wer zum personal gehoert weiss mann nicht,da weder counter noch schreibtisch vorhanden,bis mitternacht tv im schlafsaal an,der diensthabende pennt bis mittag und hinterlaesst die nachricht,man moege an die leiter klopfen wenn mann was wolle,dann kaeme er vom hochbett herunter(

Liked: Mandala is more than just a hostel. It's home. After traveling in several countries and sleeping in numerous hostels, I found Mandala to be one of the best ones so far! The staff is amazing - extremely friendly, laid-back and fun to hang out with. Hostel itself is extremely clean and spacious and I specially enjoyed the relaxed hippie-kinda (in a very very good way) atmosphere! I would recommend Mandala hostel to everyone. You've impressed me, I'm definitely going to stay here again!

Liked: The people were all really cool & helpful with helping us get around the city. Genuinely concerned. Very nicely decorated.

Disliked: The only weird thing was that the bathroom walls were not seperated at the very top, so you could hear the other side. It really wasn't a big deal.

Liked: Mandala is an awesome place to stay. Everybody is completely relaxed and i had a really good time with all the staff! the place has a great athmosphere, nice decorations, clean and tidy. I recommend it big time if you are staying in budapest!!!

Liked: The decor was brilliant, it was not overcrowded the way that some hostels are, the staff were lovely.

Disliked: Not being allowed to wear shoes in the hostel.

Liked: Best Hostel Ever! Second time I stay there and it's even better than before! You just feel at home and around friends. Very clean, very cosy and close to the main places and bars. Guys, thank you again for a wonderful stay at the hostel!

Liked: Excellent hostel, I couldn't recommend it more highly. It's relatively small size and very friendly staff mean you can't help but feel at home there within a day or two. The hostel has a well equipped kitchen, and is also well located, with sights in both Buda and Pest being easily walkable.

Liked: A unique hostel! I love the atmosphere and character of this hostel so much!! It's quiet and you feel the privacy, but at the same time it's socialiable, you can chat and meet news friends there easily in the friendly atmosphere, everybody's so friendly and respecting each other. The bed is comfortable. I have good nites sleeps. The staff, Nicholas gives excellent info about where to go! The location is also very good! In the middle of everything!

Disliked: nothing really. but if have to say something -- the laundry cost EUR8.00!

Liked: Perfect location a great staff. We arrived very early (6 am) and as we expect our room was not avaiable yet so they let us take a snap on the couch. THANNNKSSS!

Disliked: If you stay in the double room as us, is difficult to sleep before mid night because the room is near the kitchen. So, just take another look around and come back later or join the group party =)

Liked: Nice staff (more than helpful. They away try to offer the best they can); perfect cleanness; great location allowing walking to the city and avoiding the noisiness; great atmosphere (we and the staff talk in the common room every evening)

Disliked: the floor makes noise when stepped on; laundry costs 8 euro

Liked: The staff were very helpful and really made sure that each guest could find what they wanted in Budapest. The hostel is exceptionally clean and its small size (two very large rooms with a total number of about 20 guests) meant that it was very friendly and people were considerate of each other (not being noisy when coming home wasted etc).

Disliked: The location was a little bit hard to find at first but Im a bit retarded with these things so you may not have the same problem.
