Liked: nice dorms, excellent staff, good kitchen, common room with tv and movies. very very clean, bath. laundry facility. excellent location. dorms are colorful with funky old beds but mattresses are good. not much partying going on but staff are more than willing to direct you anywhere you like. security is more than good.

Liked: it was great - we had a tripple and it was a real little flat, full of colours, cllean and cosy, with kitchen and bathroom. In fact we didnt spend a long time at the hostel, as we were in budapest only for one night and we wanted to see as much as possible. But still it left a deep impression on me. I want to come back to budapest sooner or later and definitely I will choose this hotel and recommend it to my friends as well!

Disliked: maybe its a bit difficult to be found-but in fact its nothing serious

Liked: Location! Good relaxed feel to it.

Disliked: The price of washing. The 15+ mosquitoes in the room, the night shift male was approached for some insect killer, he came across as rude and didnt care. His only reply was go down the street and buy some. Lastly, it says beer on arrival on the website.. no beer on arrival, no beer in hostel.

Liked: It's a very nice hostel for meeting other people, but also if you only want to have a nice peacefull sleep. You get a locker next to your bed which could fit your backpack. The common room is very spacious and bright because of the shiny colours on the wall, and the bathrooms are spacious and clean.

Disliked: It's hard to find the right doorbell, you have to dial 11 but it didn't work, so we had to wait untill someone else left the building.

Liked: It was a comfy place to stay because of the homely décor, the friendliness of the staff, and the informality of the whole place.

Disliked: The common room was near to the bedrooms.

Liked: This Hostel is right in the center of Budapest. It was easy to get anywhere we wanted. The staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and the lockers made us feel safe about leaving valuables behind while we went and explored. The best part is that there is a kitchen and fridge so you can bring or buy your own food and save money on eating out. The directions listed from the train station are perfect. It cost about 320 Hungarian to take the metro ($1.70) so DO NOT take a taxi. Its not worth it. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and the food is pretty inexpensive. There are also two groceries and ATMs on the street.

Disliked: NOTHING. This place was great!! Best hostel I have stayed at by far since I have been in Europe. I have been living and traveling in Europe since January and nothing has come close.

Liked: The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was always cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is ideal, the facilities clean, and my overall impression perfection.

Disliked: I have absolutely no complaints about this hostel. I enjoyed everything about my stay.

Liked: The staff was wonderful. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was supposed to stay in a private room with two friends, but when my friends ran into some trouble and couldn't make it, this hostel happily moved me to a dorm and didn't worry about cancellations or the fact that I had just arrived alone without calling ahead. They were incredibly understanding about the situation. The location was also absolutely incredible. Right near the central metro station with access to all three lines, and right near several fantastic free walking tour meeting points.

Disliked: There weren't many people staying there during the week, so it was a bit quiet and empty at times, but that's not really the fault of the hostel. Budapest is much more lively on the weekends than on weekdays year-round anyway.

Disliked: Nobody wants to wait an hour at the door of an hostel for ONE HOUR. But when we arrive at Budapest, it was 23.00h. It was to late for a second alternative. So we waited until a gentelmen living in that apartment to let us go inside.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff - went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. We stayed an extra night thanks to them! Very clean and well decorated, great common room and location, and very easy to meet people.
