Liked: staff, friendly safe feel, well located near river and metro station

Disliked: kitchen a bit small and little room to keep your food. Hostel fairly quiet so not a problem for us, but when busy the kitchen would be inadequate.

Liked: It was in a great location, and a 5 minute walk to the metro if you needed to get to another part of the city. The staff were helpful in giving directions and recommendations. The beds were comfy, and the lockers were big. I would stay here again.

Disliked: The doors were a little thin, so I could hear people talking in the central room sometimes.

Liked: Very central location. Lots of space in rooms, unlike other hostels that try to cram in as many beds into one room as possible. Free wi-fi and printing, which allowed us to do online check-in for our flight back. Friendly and helpful staff.

Liked: This is a great hostel! The best thing about this hostel is the staff-- they are amazing! SO nice and helpful, and they provide you with maps and all kinds of information when you arrive. They even give you a free shot of traditional Hungarian liquor! The location is great-- very close to most of the good stuff in Budapest. The rooms are large and have a mixture of bunks and regular single beds that are really comfortable. There are small lamps next to the beds for reading or whatever which is nice. The common room is large and nice and there are lots of movies available to watch. The kitchen is good too.

Disliked: The water in the shower wasn't very warm, but it was do-able.

Liked: The hostel had a very homey, cozy feel and the staff was really helpful and friendly. The kitchen area was great and tea/hot chocolate/coffee was provided, which was perfect after a day in the cold! They even provided shot glasses and gave you a free welcome shot. The location was perfect, and there was a grocery store and hummus bar on either side. They also had a lot of information about free walking tours and sightseeing! One of my favorite hostels that I've ever stayed at!

Liked: Best hostel yet. Thank you Sylvie for being such a good host. Good fun, met lots of people. Hostel was clean, very well located and the staff were all very helpful. Would recommend the palinko for hangovers. Dangerous stuff though

Liked: The hostel located in the heart of the city. Very clean and safety. The stuff is very helpful. I was in female dorm for 4 persons and the room was big enough. Free lockers in the room. Free computer with internet in the hostel, but there is no speaker and phone(for skype). In overall I recommend this hostel.

Liked: One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Private kitchen and lounge for backpackers, very helpful accommodating staff while also being a good price. Very safe, and right in the centre of central Pest. Would strongly recommend it.

Disliked: Make sure you write down the directions as their is no sign outside.

Liked: Large, clean room

Disliked: The hostel itself is located very centrally, however the private ensuite double rooms are located in another building at the other end of the city. This building is not very good if you want to meet other travellers as it was so quiet - no common room. It is not located centrally either - a good walk away from all tourist attractions.

Liked: Instructions to get here were not entirely clear or easy to follow but as long as you look out carefully for the road signs, don't let that put you off!!This is easily is the best hostel in Budapest. A++++. All facilities provided, couldn't ask for much more. Value for money indeed, highly recommended :-)

Liked: Everything! one of the best hostels stayed in. staff are so helpful and friedly, amazing location right in the heart of everything, kitchen, large communal lounge where you can bring your own drinks, comfortable dorms with large lockers, very sociable but relaxed atmosphere. would definitely come back.
