Liked: Very clean hostel in a great location to see the city. Staff are extra helpful especially Peter who goes out of his way to help you with whatever you need, absolute champ! Tv area is excellent to relax, lots of channels aswell as many DVD's. Good bars/clubs within 5 min walk. One of the best hostels I have stayed at.

Liked: I recommend this hostel everyone, location is great(very downtown), new bathrooms, comfortable bed, and the staff made us Hungarian food(delicious&free),the best with cold beer!(very cheap) Thanks

Liked: Very welcoming staff. Very helpful. A nice, small hostel with a homey feel. They cook and serve a free Hungarian dinner once a week. A great place to relax and meet other travelers.

Disliked: There are only 2 showers and one was broken for most of the time we were there.The rooms facing the street can be quite loud (and are also right next to the common area/reception).

Liked: The hostel is really great, it is in the cenetr, only some minutes from main attractions. If you can stay there when Esther (the owner) make the hungarian dinner (paprika, potatoe, sausages..), it is yummy and perfect occasion to meet with other travellers. Big, bathroom, lot of DVD, thanks everything to Leila too...

Disliked: nothing to complain....

Liked: Everything was just awesome! The common room was perhaps a bit too noisy during the evenings.

Liked: Located at an excellent place in the town. Kitchen is well furnished and handy to use.Shower rooms are all clean and well installed.

Disliked: A common room/space for travelers' use (talks, communication, writing, and travel planning) is small.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, close to train station and tram stop/centre, small personal feel to the place, no curfew was good - we were let in at 5am without the staff being grumpy!

Disliked: The 3 bed dorm was too hot with no air-con or fans (window opens onto a corridor, not directly to outside - same with the 7 bed), leaky toilet in one bathroom, also worth noting that to get to the 3 bed dorm you have to walk through the 7 bed dorm, quite an unusual arrangement!

Liked: it is very arranged, the staff are great, there is always someone who can help you at the reception, we were at the private room and it was so clean and nice, the atmosphere there is very good. nice pepole

Disliked: its on 2nd floor with no elevator.. but once you get your stuff in stairs you forget about this small fact

Liked: The shower rooms were very large and roomy, not the average stuffy shower cubicles.

Disliked: The member of staff working on our second night was very rude and we had to wake her up on the last morning to let us out of the hostel!!

Liked: Really friendly staff, went out of their way to help us and tell us where to go for food, nightlife etc. Good facilities, clean, not too big so almost felt like a home.

Liked: The decoration was nice. The reception was open 24 hours a day. That's very useful

Disliked: You had to ring a bel in order to enter the bulding. Sometimes it took very long before they opened the door. Some people from the reception were very unfriendly, others very frendly. It depended from day to day. You can not pay with VISA, thats really stupid.

Liked: No worries about being safe. perhaps too safe. good kitchen and bathrooms

Disliked: Had to go all the way down 2 flights of stairs to smoke. the receptionist had to let you out as well as in. receptionists are usually asleep at night

Liked: Good location, comfortable beds and pillows, helpful and friendly staff

Disliked: My bed was next to a loud squeaky door which was the entrance for nine other people, very hard to get any sleep!

Liked: Great atmosphere, old building and lovely beds. Large safe storage space, very homely. Free internet! No free breakfast and one of the showers didn't work while we were there, but these were the only problems.
