Liked: Nice place with massive "beer garden", table football, darts and other fun stuff

Liked: the coffee in the morning, and it had a nice bar that was always full of locals every evening and was a nightclub at the weekends.

Disliked: having stayed in several hostels this was probably the worst. despite mentioning the following in their profile there is; no self catering facilities or washing machines, a non existent games room, the staff are bemused for most of the time or hungover, slow service and very disorganised. our first room was dirty, one bathroom which could potentially, if full, service 15 people. The bar was the first priority and the hostel came second.

Liked: Cleanliness and cheap. Parking was free for the hostel's guests.

Liked: Hostel located in a quiet place, togwther with a bar. Very nice and fun place.

Disliked: A bit far to the city center.

Disliked: you cannot lock like almost every door, cleanliness not so good, do not refill the toilet paper

Liked: My friends and I walked into this hostel at 9pm hoping for a place to stay and we were lucky enough that they were able to take us. We cannot say enough good things about this hostel. They are friendly and SO helpful. They helped us find some place to eat, book train tickets for the next night and even called us a taxi. The owner is so nice and helpful. Great location and great service.

Disliked: nothing.

Liked: amazing hostel, with it's own bar that was quite popular. Staff amazingly friendly. Would 100% recomend.

Liked: Cool interior with party place and a bar on the first floor and community centre (room for meetings) on the second floor. Nice place to have a parties.

Disliked: For the money payed - everything was super fine :)

Liked: Great for young people. They held parties and concerts on the ground floor on a huge pub they have, so it is a lot of fun. Good value for the money.

Disliked: Breakfast was ok one day, but on the other i just got a piece of bread.

Disliked: The bathroom has to be shared by many people. The room has no locks. The building looks a bit worn-out.

Liked: very friendly staff, great location in one of the less known but highly underestimated quarters of Budapest!

Disliked: the blankets could be warmer, especially in the winter...

Liked: Small place, staff very nice and helpful, awesome breakfast!!! Free internet, bathroom in the room.

Disliked: A bit far from the center but still easy to walk. Just one computer for the hostel and 1 toilet for 7 people so you have to take a number!

Liked: I liked the style of the inside building, the terrace..Breakfast was good (cheese, salami, boiled eggs, tomatoes and cucumbers, and of course the usual things: cereals, coffee, butter and jam.During the whole day coffee and tea is free, too.In the bathroom there was liquid soap.

Disliked: It's not close to the tourist part of the city but it's closer to your way to the International Bus Station and to the Airport so in about 1h you get to the airport.

Liked: The people working at the hostel were so nice and helpful and it's also a good place to meet other travelers. Rooms were clean and they included a free breakfast.

Disliked: A little far from the city and walking home at night may not have been the safest things to do.

Liked: very nice place. the hostel is brand new, rooms are freshly pinted with taste and CLEAN. staff is friendly, helpful. nice surprise : breakfast buffetA bar downstaires and a playground for kids..I already recommended it to travellers I met in Budapest !!

Liked: the place looked nice, even though it's not done. they offered a nice breakfast, it was clean and silent. and they had these great talking, whistling parrots, loved them. it felt very relaxing.

Disliked: the room wasn't ready when we got there, but they fixed it fast.

Liked: The first night I spent at Grund was good because I was staying in a dorm in the main building, near the reception. The room had its own bathroom and it was very clean. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, on the whole, and the hostel is generous with its breakfast, which was all-you-can-eat and usually available until after midday.

Disliked: After the first night I was moved to another building, where my dorm was sharing one toilet and one bathroom with two other dorms. The bathroom was pretty dirty, there was no lock on the toilet door, and the shower was stone cold. With so many people sharing, it was almost impossible to use the bathroom when you needed it. The internet was also not working for much of my stay.
