Liked: Location was excellent. It's a small hostel so it's very friendly. The staff are lovely and helpful, they even made everyone pancakes which was amazing :) Free wifi throughout the hostel and a great little kitchen.

Disliked: The only bad thing was the lack of air con. It was so hot, so we had to leave the balcony doors open at night, which of course meant we could hear the loud traffic outside! Was difficult to get to sleep.

Liked: Absolutely amazing!! Room was very clean 5 minutes walkaway from the reception. Also clean bathroom..very good breakfest. And I would say absolutely amazing and very helpfull staff. They shown me all sightseeings on the map....and help me with everything!! They borrowed me towels for the spa. Simply the best!!!!

Disliked: Long,Long,Long stairs there.......and lift doesnt work. But ist only one stupid thing. Amazing stay!!!

Liked: The location is really good and the staff is very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is awesome, I felt like sleeping over a friend`s house

Disliked: They could clean the rooms more often, when I arrived my dorm was a mess

Liked: The staff was friendly and they spoke decent english, which were both qualities I found to be quite rare in budapest. There is almost no need to use public transportation because everything is walkingdistance. The kitchen is nice and the facilities are clean.

Disliked: The reception is in another building if you stay in a prIvate room. This building is also the building they serve breakfast. Also the beds were not that comfortable and the shower did not drain well. It did not ruin the overall experience though

Liked: I got a guarantee that my room is booked and I could trave without any worry. The staff was helpful and friendly and I like the privacy of the dependance at the address Rakoczi utca 18.

Disliked: Maybe the linens and the bed sheet could be more clean and freshly ironed for every new guest.

Liked: Everything. The location was wonderful (albeit a bit difficult to find, if you don't know what you're looking for), and I felt very safe in the building. The beds were comfortable and there was a great, lively atmosphere. The other guests were all friendly, and the staff in particular was helpful and welcoming - even giving us a bottle of wine as a check-in present. At only 15 euros and with breakfast including, this hostel was a fantastic deal.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

Liked: -loved the homeliness of the hostel, good for meeting people, the staff were great, kitchen was well stocked, beautiful kitchen patio.

Disliked: -only two bathrooms, which included the showers. No bedlights.

Liked: The staff were super friendly and helpful, the bathroom and rooms were very clean and the showers were modern and worked really well. It was in a good area, just 20-30 min walk to monument hill and the castle and very close to loads of bars and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the private rooms spacious .

Disliked: We stayed in a private dorm which is in a different building to the actual hostel so we didn't really have much of a party vibe or a chance to meet other people as apart from the kitchen there wasn't a common room for people to hang out.

Liked: Muy buen ambiente. Atentos y amable. Super seguro. En el centro a 5 minutos de los puntos turísticos. El cuarto tiene locura y hasta candado te dan.

Disliked: The private rooms are down the street from the main building. There is no reception or staff in this second building. Also being cash only was a drawback for me

Liked: The breakfast and the owners... they have always been helpful and ready to help and to meet all our requests, even when they weren't easy to meet! The place was clean, and the location was great!

Disliked: nothing...really..was my first experience in the hostel....and was absolutly fantastic!

Liked: Quietness and privacy, mostly 'cause I was staying in double room located couple of blocks away from the 'main' Astoria. Perfect cleanliness.

Disliked: There was some problems with the locks of property, but I didn't think it caused too much problems. And fixing was done ASAP after double holidays (27-28. May)..

Liked: Clean, lots of natural light, good kitchen facilities, good location

Disliked: No internet in the area we were in, so we had to go a couple of blocks to the main hostle location for that; the room was hot (we had to get a fan) and, with the window open, incredibly noisy! Otherwise, just fine.

Liked: Wow what a fantastic hostel! Location is really good, very close to all the main slights and attractions. The rooms and bath rooms were clean. Showers were hot. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and were extremely helpful with giving me directions to my tours and pointing me to the best night spots.
