Overview
Don't be fooled by the ‘very cheap’ prices. Our hostel has been around for 5 years, so we know what you need! Reasonable price, good location, helpful staff, free wireless Internet, cleanliness and a good kitchen. That is just what we offer!
The Hostel is located in the heart of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. This teeming city is a must-to-visit for everyone who is traveling around in Europe.
‘Astoria City Hostel’ is the best place for backpackers, budget travelers or anybody for an overnight in this beautiful city. Come and enjoy the good location, good atmosphere, friendly environment with us!
At Astoria City Hostel, we offer clean and comfortable non-smoking dormitories.
The breakfast is only available for the dormitories.
- 3 rooms with 8 beds (one of these rooms has en-suite toilet and shower)
- 1 with 6 beds.
We have private rooms available 2 minutes away from the hostel. So they are not located in the main hostel where the reception is, but we take everybody to their rooms after checking in.
Breakfast is not available for private rooms. (only available for dormitory beds)
All of our private rooms and apartments have fully equipped kitchens.
The hostel is located in the heart of the city’s Pest side with easy access from all train and bus stations.
The dorm price includes:
- A bed with clean bed linen, pillow and blanket
- All you can eat breakfast between 8-10 am
- Free lockers
- The right to use all of our facilities including the fully equipped kitchen, TV, bathrooms and free Internet
- No lockout at any times
- No curfew
This property is for relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing. Respect every person staying here and do not party here. The neighborhood has one of the busiest nightlife in the city. So u don't need to go too far...

Two bedroom apartment is available! It is fully equiped and delux category. There are two balconies overlooking the Great Synagogue of Budapest. The beds are two double beds. So it is the best for two couples.

Please note: We can not receive larger groups than 12 people! If you are considering a multiple room booking please remember that the private rooms and the dorms are not in the same building. They are not far, but not in the same place. The limit for multiple bookings in the new apartment for doubles or twins at the same time are 3 rooms. It is always better if you contact groups@hostelbookers.com to book a group. Please, note that we do not accept any bookings from stag or hen parties, in case of booking your booking will be cancelled. Note: Private rooms do not include Breakfast.
