Liked: The security

Disliked: There were never staff members around. The guy, Alex, would only come in when there was someone checking in and would send other staff members for the nights. There were some rules but they weren't really followed since there wasn't any enforcement. It's an apartment turned into hostel with 3 rooms and about 8 people to a room. The lockers can hold your important documents but not if you have a huge traveling backpack. If you want a place to meet people, I wouldn't suggest this place. It seemed like we were the only people there during our stay.

Liked: the staff was very friendly & helpfull.

Disliked: the central heating was off and we were freezing. I mean really freezing. An electric heater during night would save us. Otherwise all was excellent!

Liked: Good location, within walking distance to most things. They did my washing (10 euros). Kitchen facilities although only one hotplate and a microwave.

Disliked: Quite small and can get a bit crowded if the hostel is full. Only 2 bathrooms (1 shower). More like a small apartment with a big open common room and 3 bedrooms.

Liked: Very impressed with everything about this hostel. Would recommend anyone to stay there. Staff were very helpful and considerate. The room was spacious and bathroom was very modern and clean. There was tea/coffee available and good kitchen facilities and a central location.

Liked: The price is super cheap and you get nearly everything. It's superb. The location is great, you're in the middle of everything, the bridge, the river... Room is clean, the staff is nice and friendly, with them, you don't need to go to any tourist information :D. There is a very nice and clean kitchen, around the corner you have a non stop supermarket. Highly recommend this place, it's one of the things that make me love Budapest :) Go there and feel it for yourself!!

Liked: I highly recommend this hostel. the staff were really lovely. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious. We really enjoyed our stay here and will come again!

Liked: Location is very good: right in the heart of Pest and easy access to metro services, supermarket and town centre. Dorms were clean and comfortable to stay in.

Disliked: Due to its small size, atmosphere and character are lacking. Sharing a shower between 3 rooms was often quite difficult, and some facilities (e.g. stove and toilet) were not operating that well.

Liked: I do not recall anything being to favorable to me. I do not consider myself a picky person by any means but I just felt bad vibes from this hostel. The staff were helpful when I saw them once at check in.

Disliked: I was the only person staying in the hostel so this may influence my ratings. However, by only person staying there I mean I was no other travelers and no front desk staff around at all. The entire hostel, or three bedroom apartment was mine. I am puzzled why this hostel received such high ratings in the past. Perhaps if your traveling with a large group of people, things may be different.

Liked: It's nice, clean, quiet and cheap. If you are looking for a party place don't come here. Otherwise, this is the best place you can choose.

Liked: Superb hostel. Staff very friendly and helpful, location is unbeatable and great atmosphere where you can meet other travelers. Ready made beds is a plus, especially when you arrive tired and want some sleep. Totally recommended!!

Liked: I had a great time in this hostel and will surely recommend it to my friends heading to Budapest. The staff is very friendly, the whole place is so clean :) I'm considering to stay longer next time.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a very social hostel due to the communual areas, the bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have a bath/shower area all to yourself

Disliked: The building it is in looks a bit questionable at first glance which was a little scary

Liked: This is one of the best hostels we have stayed at in 2 months of traveling! The bathrooms and kitchen are nice and new and rather luxurious, and they are always spotless. Alex owns and runs the place and he keeps things very tidy and is also very helpful with all the information you could need. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone going to Budapest.

Liked: The best hostel we stayed at during our trip. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Staff were very friendly and helpful and always seemed to keep the hostel clean. Although quite a small hostel we met some great people and had a good time! If I come back to Budapest I will be staying here again!!
