Liked: The hostel is located in the center just under the castle hill, what is great. Nori, a girl who is the owner or keeper? was very friendly a willing to helps us with anything. We could choose which room we liked as there were more rooms free. The price is really low for the location.

Disliked: There was a lot of noise in the morning as we had room oriented to the street where was back entrance to some big hotel. Every morning (about 6 or 7 am) they moved some food in, so many lorries came by and honked and stopped and went again. Also stuff there made a lot of noise moving things on trolly. This was really irritating. We also missed electric kettle.

Liked: It's location to local facilities such the adjoining vegetarian cafe, a bank and a supermarket

Disliked: We booked en suite but were given a shared bathroom. The inner courtyard which which all rooms led was a mess. The room hadn't been cleaned and we found a female sanity towel lodged down the side of the bed and an old stale bread roll on the floor. The room had a window onto the street at ground level which made it noisy. One night there was a loud BBQ which involved residents and non-residents. Meat smells and smoke reached our room (we are vegetarians) and all and sundry using our bathroom and noisy shouting went on until around 2 am

Liked: Good location, on the quiet side of Budapest but right near a metro station, clean and comfortable

Disliked: Can be noisy as rooms face out onto a common court yard.

Liked: funky decor,comfortable bed, big airy room, boutique feel to it. vegetarian restaurant attached downstairs. lovely courtyard.really nice woman and couple who run it

Liked: A very cute spot located super close to the Danube & metro -- we stayed 3 nights (there were 4 of us) and really enjoyed our time there. The lady running the show, Nori, was a total sweetie and really helpful. Their restaurant smells amazing in the mornings; what a great way to wake up! :)

Disliked: My only complaint was about the noise in the mornings -- they are right behind a large grocery store and the guys unloading fresh stuff every morning were pretty loud so it was hard to sleep past 7am. But on the plus side, that helped me wake up and not sleep in on the few precious days I had to enjoy Budapest! :)

Liked: The lady who runs the hostel is easy-going, friendly and hard-working. When we arrived, she quickly made us feel at home and was really helpful with her suggestions about places to visit. Good value for money. The hostel has quite a quirky feel; don't let the word 'antique' put you off....it's just got some cool decorations going on!

Disliked: For a hostel which felt clean and friendly, it wouldn't have been difficult to go one step further and make it feel like a better product. There weren't any secure lockers (the lady looked after our passports herself) and the kitchen was TINY. The showers were also a problem as the temperature fluctuated from boiling to freezing so took a few days to get used to! However, these ARE minor points, and I still recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a basic, clean and comfortable place to stay.

Liked: It is located very near to all touristic attractions and transportation facilities. The building itself is full of charm and very cosy. The owners were very nice and always ready to help. All in all, the atmosphere was exactly what one needs in order to enjoy the time spent in Budapest

Liked: Perfect location: very close to the Metro, opposite bank of the Parliament, 15min. walking distance to the Castle Hill. The host couple were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nicely decorated with kitchen, Wi-Fi.

Disliked: Nothing really. Potential visitors should understand that this guesthouse is not those chain hostels where 24-hour service is available. The hosts are very easy-going and helpful but may not be available all the time.

Liked: Close the big sights of Budapest. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very pleased to have the use of a kitchen. Great atmosphere and great value.

Liked: Nicely painted in red, with unique atmosphere created by the inner courtyard and delicious smell of cooking coming from the vegetarian restaurant. Friendly owners and great location - even though not in the centre of Pest, but really close to bus, metro and railway station. And if you like a bit of exercise you can easily reach Buda's Old Town by climbing up the stairs, which you can find close to the hostel. Again, great location!

Liked: The guesthouse was very cute with a homely feel and was in an amazing location, right next to everything you could need! The owners were lovely and helpful. The rooms were great and it was very clean and safe. I would definitely recommend it we'd definitely go back!

Liked: Lots of character, good location, can use a kitchen/fridge etc.

Disliked: The bathroom could do with a slightly less revealing curtain at the window, though I did really enjoy the sit in bath.
