Liked: Such a lovely place and located just by the river.

Disliked: We stayed in 4 dorm by ourselves so it was fine, but there was no lockers in bedrooms.

Liked: Very friendly staff and a great location--we walked everywhere in both Buda and Pest with no problems.

Disliked: It could use a fan or something to cool rooms in the summer. It was 32 C/90 F everyday we were here and the room didn't cool down much, even in the evening with the window open.

Liked: We stayed 8 days on july 2011. It was clean and the room looked like more as a little appartement than a room ! We had our own bathroom (we choose it when we reserved on hostelbooker), a little fridge, a microwave, television, sofa... We were free to come and leave when we want! We spent a great time! The staff gave us some books with informations and plans to do in budapest.

Disliked: Some noise on the morning beacause of the Spar in the same street. When we arrived there were nobody to receive us... But there is always somebody to help you in the vegetarian restaurant next to the hostel.

Liked: Very convenient location, interesting interior, much privacy, good value for money.

Disliked: There was no internet, the kitchen was a bit dirty, when we had to leave nobody was there to take the money.

Liked: There is a kitchen its upstairs ask the very helpful owners and they'll show you.

Disliked: Not very many other people staying at that time

Liked: The location is perfect which is very closed to the metro station. I like the Buda side because it's not as commercial as Pest. A lot of local restaurants surround the hostel. The decoration of the room and the common area are very nice. The staff is helpful.

Disliked: A bit hot in the room at night. The warehouse opposing to the hostel makes noise every morning. Some insects bit my legs in the room.

Liked: the owners of the hostel ( Nori and Balazs ) are some of the nicest people i have ever met.. make you feel very welcome

Liked: The property was situated away from the bustling centre and in easy walking distance to castle/palace areas which are beautiful. It is opposite the grand government building with the river between you offering spectacular sights during the night in just 2mins walk. The guesthouse itself is family run and very welcoming. Amazing time here and would suggest this to friends and family wanting to see Budapest.

Disliked: Nothing really, but only a kettle and sink is available so you can't do your own cooking although plates, cutlery & glasses are supplied (we found a cheap chinease round the corner for hot cheap food)

Disliked: Unfortunately, the room was not completely clean - but ok.

Liked: it is very central, trains, metro, bus-stop, sight-seeing ships and a good supermarket only 2 Minutes away. Many interesting young foreigner students lives there.

Disliked: The kitchen is a little bit to small. I missing a shower curtain.

Liked: We had our own private studio. Was VERY quaint, cozy, and quiet. The woman running the hostel was FULL of helpful advice about what to see, do, and eat. Had everything ready for us the second we arrived.

Disliked: The posted said that there was a kitchen, which was a bit more basic than expected-no fridge, 1 electric burner, very few dishes.

Liked: The owner is quite helpful and willing to listen and assist as much as posisble to any problem or request.

Disliked: The owner is unable to be present all the time and on arrival I had to wait around 15 minutes as the owner was absent on a private errand.

Liked: It has a kindly atmosphere, as a home. Tiene un ambiente agradable, como un hogar.

Liked: I stayed in a private double room, which had a lot of character and was very clean. The room was next door to the owners who were so friendly and let us leave our luggage all day until we needed to catch the train. The location was perfect, right beside a main metro line, making it super easy to get around.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: It was very convenient to the metro station and walking distances from all of the Buda sites as well as the bridge to Pest. The room was clean and warm. The washing machine was very easy and convenient for use.

Disliked: The top bunk was difficult to access as the rungs on the ladder are too far apart for shorter legs. When checking out, the restaurant didn't seem to be aware that I would be giving them my key and payment.

Liked: We expected a room with 4 beds and shared bathroom, but got an apartment with 3 separate stylish bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - for the same price, very cheap! Beautiful, lots of character, hidden from the street, but once the door opens you enter a magical courtyard. Friendly owners, excellent location, with the view of the parliament and the river as soon as you step out of your hostel. Very Budapest!

Disliked: It was hard to find - there is no sign and the entrance door does not look like an entrance to a hostel. But owners were always available on phone if you forgot your keys.

Liked: Good location near the Castle and walking distance to the Chain Bridge and Pest side of town. Quiet and secure. Room was good size and had good facilities. Nice and warm.

Disliked: Could maybe use a shower curtain, but bathroom was big enough your stuff didn't get wet when the water splashed out of the tub
