Liked: Everything was great. Safe was very nice and accommodating to my needs. Everything was clean and felt very safe here. If I ever go back to Budapest, I will look at this place first. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Budapest. The hostel was near major trams and train stations and I was able to get anywhere I wanted very easily. I am very happy I stayed here.

Liked: Great service! We could stay till 3 in the night in the room without paying for the night because there were no other guests. Very nice, small (quiet) place (only 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms).

Liked: Run by a very friendly and welcoming guy – only a few rooms so a great atmosphere and everyone became friends v.quickly. Location was great, 5 min walk into town/Margaret Island and close to metro. Free wifi. Excellent security.

Disliked: The stairs to its top-floor location, and our private room was right next to the common area.

Liked: Loved the unique decor and the location. It really gave you a sense of appartment living in the city centre. Cooking and bathroom facilities were great and also had great free wifi access (we had to use it for an interview via skype whilst we were there so worked great).

Disliked: The ONLY thing I can dislike were the the stairs up to the hostel with our heavy bags on check in, but bear in mind I am writing this as 'hostelbookers' needed a dislike.

Liked: Very nice and helpful Staff. They waited for me to do the check in at 23:00. Room was clean and I and my girlfriend enjoyed it. The best part was the location very near to the center and to the 'Danube' river. For the price we paid it was satisfying.

Disliked: 3rd floor, no elevator

Liked: They were absolutely amazing, straight away made us feel at home and giving us advice on the best places to visit during our stay. They couldn't have been more helpful! Nice rooms too! :)

Liked: Feels like a student's flat, we had a nice double-floor room. The staff is very kind, helpful and sweet. A convenient location.

Disliked: Not enough light in the room and in the kitchen.

Liked: Agnes, the receptionist, has lots of advices for newcomers to the city. It's a comfortable stay. Access to laptop with internet.

Disliked: A very basic kitchenette, not a full kitchen.

Liked: kindly and friendly athmosphere, quicly solving of problems.

Disliked: better cleaning of beds, we had got an alergic reaction here.

Liked: Great place to stay. Hostel is located in very nice old building and the owner is super nice and super helpful. We have received a lot of info on where to go, what to do etc. Close to subway and tram station, walking distance to main sights. Private room where we stayed in was very neat and cosy and the price was very favorable. All in all, this is probably one of the best place I've stayed at in recent years.

Liked: Strongly recomend it to anyone. A really surprising place. Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing time, and a hungarian way of life. The two receptionists advice the best sightseeings, restaurants, parks, and things to do...Way better than many other big hostels.

Liked: Gallery Hostel is a cute little place to stay, but what made it really stand out were the awesome girls who work there. Especially yesterday evening's cooking session with them and one of their friends was very nice and something I haven't done in any other hostel I stayed in :-)

Liked: Very good value for money, excellent location (exept that it's the 4th flour) near margit bridge and nyugati trainstation on the pest side. It has a good make love not war character.

Liked: We stayed in one of their private apartments (a bedroom with a big bed for 2 people, a living room with a sofa and a table and a kitchen and a bathroom) right next to the Opera House. We really enjoyed our stay there and we would book it again.

Liked: Great hostel! A little alternative stlye, but very very coasy. Rooms a little and offer a lot of comfort. I definitly recommend it. Great hostel for younger couples. The recepcionst was very nice and helpful.
