Nicholas McTeerWe had an amazing stay! The staff was amazing and VERY helpful! The location is great. It's close to a metro stop, lots of restaurants/bars, and near most attractions. It was very comfortable and didn't feel like a hostel, it felt like we were staying at a friends place. Great for couples, and groups alike! |

Customer reviewthis hostel has perfect atmosphere and i wanted to stay more if my schedule wasn't so tight! hostel is in the building just in front of hungrian national museum, with a small name plate with the word 'lavender'. there is no hostel sign, so you may need to remember the street number not to miss this building. if you are careful person, you won't have hard time to find this place. close to the center, market place, you can find many cafes, bars and restaurants around here. staff are amazingly nice and helpful. and i love the hostels which don't ask me for the passport . lavender didn't ask me for the passport, no deposit for the room key, nor no papers to fill out. nice dub music. so i love this hostel. |

Customer reviewGreat location, very nice rooms retro style furnished (I really liked it!), everything is clean, the staff is so frendly and helpfull, they give you the map of the city and tell you where to go, what to see and which are cool places to check out and you can ask them if you need anything. I would definitely recommend this place! Greetins from Croatia! |

Melanie FyfeThis place is an absolute gem! From the vibrant and interesting character, to the massive dimensions of the room, to the very cool and knowledgeable staff - if you ever end up in Budapest, definitely see if there are rooms free. The location is very central, so it's easy to walk to almost everything. If you need the metro, it's literally on the corner. The common areas are cleaned daily, so there is no concern for unpleasant showering experiences. The staff here are wonderful. Amongst the friendliest and most knowledgable I have ever experienced in any accommodation. There are lots of restaurants and eateries nearby, and also a great wine shop. The value here is extraordinarily good. I cannot recommend it highly enough. And if you go, you will see by all the letters left by previous guests, that this place makes for happy travellers. |
