Liked: We like everything there! One of the best hostels ever :) Nice staff and very helpful. Great location in the city center, near to underground and all most famous places. We really recomend this place.

Liked: We had wonderful time in Budapest and Lavander takes credit for that!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was enormus and cosy with great view! Atmosphere was cheerfull and interior is very artistic! Lokation is suberb, near downtown and metro and across National musem of Hungary.

Disliked: Maybe the heating could have been better ;)

Liked: Very comfy hostel & creative owner. So if you are a creative and open minded person too, then you definitely feel well there! So as we did. As the pictures say, it is very colorful and there are nice specials to discover! Nothing for people who like straight and straight lines.

Disliked: We also had the room with the museum view and it was a bit noisy. But that's just my personal sense and I am a light sleeper.

Liked: Lavender Circus was a great place to stay. The receptionists were all really friendly, and always willing to help. Very laid backed atmosphere, which was comforting. Our room was also incredibly spacious, and although the heating wasn't working very well one evening the receptionist on staff immediately tried to fix it and gave us more blankets until it warmed up. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: The cooking facilities were fairly small, and the shower was hard to use without getting water everywhere but other than that everything was great.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms. Great location close to the metro station and five minute walk to the Market hall.

Disliked: We had a room facing the National Museum, although we had a lovely view the main road outside is very busy and noisy. So if you are a light sleeper request one of the rooms facing the internal courtyard.

Liked: Staff was extremely helpful! As the toilet broke down, they could not offer me the ensuite I booked, so they gave me another room & a discount even!

Disliked: A little bit too dark, & not all rooms (2nd floor or nearer to the stairs) had wifi.

Liked: The hostel is in a fabulous location and you couldn't ask for friendlier staff. They go out of their way to tell you everything about Budapest, they also make sure that you are happy with your room and don`t need anything. The hostel is in a lovely old building (which is nice and quiet). The decor is really funky and adds to the chilled out atmosphere of the hostel.

Liked: Quirky, location and helpful staff.

Disliked: Hostel is owned by an artist and the décor is a little different to my usual. This statement isn't a disadvantage but just made me personally think it was a little odd.

Liked: Everything is brilliant about this hostel. You feel very safe, comfortable, welcome and relaxed. The staff are particularly brilliant too. The setting and our quirky room with a mezzanine bedroom also offered a private basic kithenette. We loved it so much we stayed a further 3 nights.

Disliked: There is nothing i disliked.

Liked: this is one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in - friendly helpful staff who are keen to tell you all the best places to go, lovely rooms full of character (check out the goldfish in the bathroom window), free tea and coffee (and a shot of palinka on arrival), and basically anything else you could want! - plus an awesome location right in the centre of town.

Disliked: nothing to dislike. it was brilliant from start to finish.

Liked: The Artist Owner and his Staff are fantastic people and the hostel is brilliant. Massive rooms and decorated with cool kitch and furniture from the 70s. The old high studs and architecture make for a romantic and atmospheric stay. Would stay again for sure. Thanks the Kiwis. John and Jane

Liked: Personal character hostel, not like any other hostel we've visited. Great private room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free Palinka (booze) :)

Liked: We absolutely LOVED this place!! It has so much character and such great hosts that you instantly feel at ease and at home. The host was amazing and advised on so many of the great Budapest sights, eateries and places that we had no shortage of things to see and do. We got a private room with an ensuite and it was fantastic. It really felt like a fun home away from home. I and We would DEFINITELY recommend this property to anybody wishing to travel to Budapest!!

Liked: Everything was great, the staff is great, they're very kind, and they're always helping you to do fun things in the city. The hostel is really cozy and it's decorated with a lot of artistic stuff. The rooms which are not really rooms are more like apartments are really clean and you have everything you need in there.

Disliked: The only thing i didn't like was that you have a lot of keys for opening rooms, and sometimes it took a while to open the doors, because i got confused with the keys,

Liked: I really enjoyed staying here and the staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. It is a very relaxed and laid-pack place and has a funky and cool style. Overall a really great experience

Disliked: Our room, while pretty clean, looked like it hadn´t been swept in quite some time... There was quite a bit of dust/hair around the bed area and the side tables.
