Lavender Circus Hostel and Apartments

Lavender Circus is a quite property like place in the city centre. Mainly with 2 bed private rooms for couples and friends. We have community room and 24 hours reception time. We offer comfortable accommodation and affordable rates.

We created a cosy special atmosphere in a historical building.
Every quest has their own keys and can move completely free.
We specialised in 2 bed private rooms. There isn’t a typical hostel atmosphere. The conception of the place is that we let rooms mainly for couples and single travelers. The apartment has free internet, community room and unique design

There are several bedrooms, 1 big very comfortable community room, kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 3 toilets. Bedrooms and community rooms are non-smoking!

There is a comfortable, separated smoking area.

Every private room can be locked safely.

Accommodation Information

There are 8 rooms. All of the rooms are double bed private rooms. The room is 15 square meters with a double bed, armchairs table, cupboard pictures and cosy decoration. There is a big window, heater and ceiling fun.

Location Information

By public transportation we are about a half hour using the airport-bus and metro from the airport.
Please keep in mind that you have to use a ticket or pass to use the public transportation. Tickets are available at yellow ticket-machines, newspaper-stores and metro offices. One single ticket costs 1.25EUR. Those who don't use tickets can be fined by 24EUR.
Between the terminal 2 and 2A, there is a bus stop for the Airport-Bus, which is a service of the Budapest Transport Company known as BKV.

If you buy a ticket from the driver, please check if it wasn't validated before.
After getting on the bus please ensure you've punched your ticket, so you won't be fined. Ride on the bus until it lasts, and then you'll be on 'Kõbánya-Kispest'.
Validate a new ticket again, then take a metro until 'Kálvin tér' (8th stop), then turn left right after the escalator. Walk straight ahead, then choose the left exit to upstairs (Múzeum Krt). Come up and there will be the National Museum (Hughes white building. The other side opposite the museum there is the hostel. Located 3rd floor.
4. Whenever you want to take a taxi
Usually the taxies are not expensive, if I talk about the large companies. But you should definitely avoid private cabs, they are 'official pickpockets', they can ask horrible amounts for few kilometers.
