Liked: I found the space clean, spacious, and relaxing. I found the staff extremely helpful, answering all the questions i had about budapest and how to have a good time in the city. The manager of the hostel is an especially sweet woman, just a delight to talk to, and very charming and welcoming. I felt very well taken care of at the hostel, with all the things that I needed to have a nice visit to the city. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The room was nice and big, and warm, internet worked great, etc. But really what sets the hostel apart is the staff members, who are unusually kind and generous with their time and attention.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: I love the large rooms, the random decorations (phones on the wall? great! Mini golf in a room, awesome) and the courtyard it over looks on the inside. Great location, too.

Disliked: Nothing, really.

Liked: It felt like being at home. The hosts were very kind and hospitable. On the day of check out, the owners let us take our time and didn't rush us at all. I felt very comfortable at the hostel. The breakfast was also good. There were fresh bread rolls with tomatoes, sandwich meats, cheese, peppers and cucumbers. There was also tea and coffee.

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms.

Liked: It was great, the staff were really friendly and gave you a low down on what was good to see and do depending on how long you were there. The rooms are large and there are no bunks!! :) Also the fact the the hostel was well located was great as the metro was close as well as good team links. If you were going for a night out the main places were walking distance.

Disliked: nothing really.

Liked: Staff is super nice and enthusiastic. It is very clean. Love the atmosphere there! There is elevator (although you have to climb half floor to get to the elevator)

Liked: A very nice place to stay--easily accessible to the metro, nice breakfast of rolls & meats/cheeses, clean. The staff went the extra step to help me mail a package, I appreciated their help.

Disliked: Other than running out of toilet paper once, it was great.

Liked: The staff were really helpful and full of useful suggestions for good places to eat local food that is reasonably priced. Breakfast was left out and could be eaten as lunch as it ran until 12.

Disliked: There wasn't really enough information on sight seeing around the city and trips couldn't be booked through the hostel but staff did try their utmost to find information for me. Our private room didn't feel very private with thin walls leading to the dorm on one side and the curtains weren't great so the room was quite bright in the morning. Reception was in a locked room on the other side of the hostel (it is in two parts across a hallway). Some of the guests thieved from the fridge but that's not the hostel's fault.

Liked: The staff at this hostel were some of the friendliest I've met in my traveling experiences. The property has big and comfy rooms. The breakfast is delicious (bread, coffee, tea, fresh vegetables, cheese, and salami) and it is in a sweet location!!

Disliked: The shower wasn't working properly but it was a minor speed bump in an almost flawless experience.

Liked: Easy to walk to most places in town. Good Kebab place next door.

Disliked: Chalfont didn’t work for the shower so you had to trick it by turning the basin hot water on. Pilot light kept on going out so sometimes there was no hot water at all- very hard to use. Staff were not very friendly and didn't appear to do much work- although we didn't meet 'Matt' who everyone seems to rate highly. Breakfast wasn't served until 10am which is too late when you are on a tight schedule to see a city.

Liked: Each person has their own space. Getting to sleep in a normal bed and not a bunk bed was great! It is very close to the metro, and it has a homey vibe.

Disliked: It's a bit far from all the sites. It was too far to walk, so had to take the metro everywhere.

Liked: Staff was awesome. Very helpful and friendly. Gave great recommendations for things to do and how to get there. There was a lift so you didn't have to tackle the stairs. Smoking section on the same level (outside) beds were comfortable, shower was great. Met awesome people. Beer in the fridge. Decent breakfast. I would recommend this hostel to anyone and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Disliked: nothing. This place is awesome. Go there.

Liked: it felt like being in a friend's flat and not in a plain hostel. The owner and staff were incredibly nice, the flat was in a beautiful old building, close to the centre, close to the metro. trams in front running all night. rooms were cheap, clean, gigantic and really lovely...at least the 2 of 3 double rooms. Breakfast was included, typical hungarian and lovely made. everything was clean, the bathroom was lovely, toilet paper pink ;) in our flat could live up to 6 people if i'm right.. so hardly any queueing in the morning and no noisy during the night. on the other side of the starcase was a flat with 10 beds (6+4), so there you can buy beer and meet peoole it was simply great!

Disliked: the lovely big rooms were facing the street with nonstop traffic. earplugs or sleeping with windows closed and air-cond. on, is recommended if you have an easy sleep.

Liked: Me and dad stayed in a VERY spacey double room with high ceiling and stylish furniture. The bed was really comfortable and it felt fabulous getting good sleep in it after a long day of walking. The room and the bathroom were simply clean. You can get free breakfast with vegetables, unlimited coffee or tea. It is just enough for someone who doesn't need a royal breakfast ; ) We were fully satisfied. Nice receptionists provided us with directions to a nearby spa and didn't mind about us leaving our bags in the hostel in the forenoon. There is free internet access and it feels really cozy and warm just hanging around the beautifully decorated shared "living room" in the evening. Didn't mind about the little noise from the street, slept well, even with an open window. The hostel has an advantageous location. Good public transport access, supermarket and shops cheaper than in the very center, restaurants, cafés and bars in the same street.

Disliked: Well... nothing really! I was impressed! You should know though, that it's important to inform the hostel about the approximate time of your arrival. This way, the door will be opened to you right away ; ) You will get a special code for getting into the hostel later. So this is really practical.

Liked: the owner of the hostel matt was so friendly and helpful it just made the stay so enjoyable. greeted with a beer and then sat and chatted to me about places to go and see and places not to go. real beds to sleep in and for the money you pay great facilities available. can't put into words how welcome i was made to feel!

Disliked: from the outside it looks a bit nasty. don't let that fool you inside its a really nice place

Liked: Very very nice staff!!!!

Disliked: I didn't sleep at all. This hostel is located at one of the busiest streets, so you hear trams, ambulances, people etc ALL NIGHT long. Terrible.

Liked: A very relaxed, friendly hostel with a great vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful and it feels more like a home than a hostel. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Disliked: The shower was a bit hard to use, but honestly it didn't really effect my stay...
