Liked: We loved the hostel, the location was great, Matt told us how to get to all the interesting sights in Budapest, most of which were 15minutes walk from the hostel. the atmosphere was great, the one-man-staff so friendly and helpful, the room very spacey, and we would and will recommend it to all our friends visiting Budapest. :)

Liked: I liked the family atmosphere due to the smallness of the youth hostel - it meant we could get to know everyone that we were staying with it and it was fun :)

Liked: This is the best hostel I've been to, no question. It's not really a party atmosphere, but the staff are SO friendly and helpful and it felt as though I was an honoured guest in their home. The location is quite good and it's a really comfortable, clean place to stay.

Liked: Very clean, single beds for everyone, very spacious place and awesome location. It is clear that the owner has done a lot of backpacking so he is aware of everything that travelers look for in hostels. The only disadvantage for me was that when I stayed, the place was nearly empty, but then again maybe it was just bad luck.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Budapest

Liked: we had a room with a double bed and it was absolutely huge. we had plenty of room to put our stuff and we had a t.v. . the street outside was a little loud and there was no air conditioning running so it was a little warm, but the hostel itself was very quiet. the guy who runs the hostel was very helpful but a little pushy at times. overall, a good stay

Liked: The owner is a marvelous guy. The hostel is even better than described. I visit Budapest quite often but from now on i will be staying only in this hostel.

Liked: Matt was extremely friendly and helpful on our arrival. He gave us maps and helped us plan out where to go. The entrance is a bit misleading, but don't worry. Also, the actual hostel is pretty small (Only 9 beds), so it was more like staying in an apartment than Hostel. Overally, def. recommended.

Liked: This was truly the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The owner is a young man, very helpful, welcoming and nice, he showed us all the sights and gave us wonderful guidelines and tips for sightseeing, relaxation (baths) and food (local cuisine, very tasty with quite affordable pricing). The breakfast is served till late and is very tasty with everything you need in the morning. The place was very clean and very nicely decorated. It is more of a home shared by various people, rather than a hostel, the whole atmosphere is very homey and cosy. The place is very well located, well connected to the main sights, they are either on a walking distance, or easily accessible by public transport. It is also very close to the biggest and newest shopping center in Budapest (West-End). Truly the best place you can stay at if you want to enjoy your stay in Budapest.

Liked: Amazing staff, helpful, friendly and really concerned that you enjoy your stay. Place was comfortable, clean. airy and great value for money. Includes coffee and tea anytime you want, laundry is cheap. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to other people.

Liked: Small and homely hostel. Nice common area - kitchen facilities and internet. Location was pretty good - close to most major sights. Matt (the owner) was helpful and cooperative. Enjoyed our stay. Overall, excellent value for the price.

Liked: Really clean and quiet. good for people who do not like crowds... great location too and there is free internet!!! good value for money. the staff, peter and matt were really helpful and friendly!!!!!

Liked: Staff is small as is the property but very helpful and kind.The owner even left out a basket of fresh cherries for guests.Every morning when you wake up your breakfast is waiting for you in the common room as you are able to eat it whenever you'd prefer during a 4 hour period. No need to wash your own dishes as they also take care of this for you. The showers are large however it is difficult to operate.

Liked: Originally we booked six bed room. that day the double private room is available, so the owner said they can offer private room for us!! without adding more money!!!! I like the owner with energy and he is really kind!!!! We enjoyed there very much
