Liked: The owner, Matt, was fantastic and always very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean, the facilities good and there was a free cupboard which could be locked. The location so close to Margaret Island and public transport was also good.

Disliked: nothing.

Liked: It was a nice place, fairly small and intimate but comfortable. Beds were comfortable and bathroom and toilets were clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the place had a nice feel with other travelers notes and recommendations of where to go and what to see are written on sheets which cover the wall, which is helpful and adds a nice touch

Disliked: There was only one shower, so often I had to wait and there was usually others waiting when I was around. The 4 dorm bedroom in which i was staying in had no curtain, but a big window, so in the morning I woke up much earlier than I wanted to because the sun was in my eyes! But to be honest, it was a nice place and these are minor details I wouldn't worry about.

Liked: Free breakfast, free internet, early check in, good location and friendly staff!

Disliked: It was quite difficult to find using the directions that are emailed to you. Do yourself a favour and print off a map in advance.

Liked: clean, spacious and a very friendly staff. It was 5 mins away from the margaret island and right in the centre of the town.

Disliked: It did not have a kitchen but I don't think that is a big issue since food in budpest is very cheap.

Liked: Couldn't ask for more helpful staff! The pub crawl is some craic!

Disliked: Slow internet but can't say it affected our stay in the slightest

Liked: Está muy muy bien, el personal es super amable y atento, te sientes como en casa. Buena localización, el hostal es muy agradable y cómodo

Disliked: El desayuno no es gran cosa, café o té y dos panecillos con mermelada, queso o salchichón.

Liked: This place had such a fun, funky vibe, and was incredibly clean. Plus, Matt is so much fun! I had the best time here.

Liked: Helpful friendly staff! Good facilities. Was nice to use a hair dryer!

Liked: Friendly staff, free tea/coffee, close to river, tram, metro, good price.

Disliked: security poor - you can get your hand in the back of the locker! no storage space for backpacks/clothes. internet terminals next to the toilets! Breakfast is two breadrolls with not alot of cheese or ham - sociable but not filling!

Liked: everything has been 100% amazing, we've eneded up staying here on two different occasions because its in a great location and the staff are really helpful!

Disliked: Nothing- oh maybe all the stairs but thats good for the legs!

Liked: Reasonable price, decent location, breakfast included.

Disliked: Noisy in the rooms due to trams going past the window during the night. Only a problem in some rooms.

Liked: Matt is pretty awesome - was having a bit of a rough day and he instantly cheered me up on arrival with his enthusiasm, and some beer. Throwing in some free laundry after booking an extra night didn't hurt, either :) Very comfortable place to stay - did like the lack of bunk beds - and the breakfast was really good too.

Disliked: Only has 1 shower, which could get to be a problem.

Liked: The staff was really helpful. They provided us with a lot of nice tips. I did enjoy family atmosphere of the place! Totally recommend it!

Disliked: A bit noisy but after a long day walking around city does not bother me.

Liked: So homely, huge bedrooms with single beds (no bunks!). Table and chairs in the middle of the room encourages socialising. 2 Good computers with net. Great, big bathroom. Good, free brekkky!! Lovely, super helpful staff.

Disliked: There is a kettle, microwave and plates etc but no hotplate if you want to actually cook. Minor detail!

Disliked: Noise from street might be the only one drawback, however, if you do have a nice trip in Budapest, you will fall in sleep very quickly :)

Liked: It has security lockers, the staff (when you could find them) were helpful and had a good knowledge of the area,

Disliked: I had to wait an hour before a staff member turned up to let me into the property - despite ringing the hostel number several times (some problem with call forwarding). There is no reception, so if you can't find the staff member on duty when you check out, you can't make arrangements to pick your bag up later in the day (if they aren't on site, they won't be able to let you in). The hostel has no air con/ fans so the rooms get really hot during summer (I was there in June), with the windows open it is very noisy at night - so earplugs are a must. There was also only 1 shower between 12 people. It's not really a hostel where you can meet people, but if you had a group of 6 then it would probably be quite a good choice.
