Liked: We were lucky enough to book a cosy private double in Emerald the last minute before jumping on the bus to Budapest. It was easy to find and we came when it was dark! Apart from the awesome location, their staff were so considerate and helpful! Well in short, it worths every penny!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It was downtown, close to everything we planed to see and do. Cheap.

Disliked: We were acomodated in dislocated apartment, even though we booked a room in Emerald 2 weeks in advance. that apartment we stayed in (room) was not on the pictures on web page its a block away. no one contacted us from the hostel after booking until the midnight the day before (i saw e mail when we got back from the trip). there was noone to meet us when we rang on the door bell, no one answered the cell phone for an hour later. the room smelled really bad, we had to spray with refreshner. there were hairs on bed sheets and pillows. bathroom was not very clean. we had to pay the deposit for the key (10euros). to resume, we stayed in the price range hostels before that were a lot cleaner.

Liked: The place is a 4-room apartment turned into a hostel, so it feels very friendly and natural.. like home rather than a hostel. The guy in charge is a very nice and polite person, he just tried to made it easy and comfortable for us... it couldn't be better

Liked: It was really neat, the beds were really comfortable and the location was perfect

Disliked: There were just two bathrooms for all the people staying at the hostel

Liked: Small size and private enough and location is good. Stable free wifi

Disliked: Not clean washroom and unfriendly staff, charge washing for 5euro but no dryer

Liked: Very good location, close to shopping area, 1 km to Danube river, 300m to Metro station. My room was very quiet, so it was a perfect night.

Liked: Fantastic value. Working wifi, free public computer, right near a metro, very cheap, clean rooms and helpful staff

Liked: A very nice room in what looked and felt like a private apartment. Friendly staff and great location.

Disliked: Restrictions on Internet time -- we weren't allowed to use it at night.
