Liked: the building was very nice, comfy beds and spatious room. was also good to have a nice kitchen with good facilities.

Disliked: it was extremly quiet, only a few people were staying at the hostel when we were there so if you are looking for partying and going out this probly isnt the place for you. my stay was good except private room isnt exactly 'private' its seperated by a window to the dorm, but still a good hostel to stay in

Liked: Clean, spacious, nice atmosphere - decoration well done. Number of showers is fine for the number of guests. Food stores nearby. Kitchen has plenty of pans and knives etc.

Disliked: My only problem was the kitchen. Don't plan an elaborate (or even normal) meal here - there are only 2 hobs between everyone, a microwave and a kettle. There is no oven.

Liked: Character, lounge, good shared laptop.

Disliked: One of the six bed dorms is pretty much a corridor with 4 rooms connecting to it which is pretty annoying as there are so many more people coming in and out that the other six bed dorms. The kitchen was good but no oven or toaster. We had a problem when we stayed, the staff told us we had to check out the day before we were supposed to, and I couldn't check my email confirmation because their wifi wasn't working, so I ended up sleeping on a bed and my friend on a mattress on the floor, I managed to get the email eventually to prove we had booked the next night. They were really apologetic and did give a generous refund for that night, but nevertheless sleeping in the lounge off the reception the night before a long day of travelling was really annoying, especially when it was their mistake.

Liked: The hostel was nice, decent sized bathrooms and friendly atmosphere

Disliked: Some of the guests were extremly loud throughout the night right next to our shared room, Im not sure why but the guests were never told to be quiet by the hostel staff. Apart from that it was an enjoyable stay although hard to find and quite far from the centre.

Liked: Price and female only option. Free internet and books available to read.

Disliked: Atmosphere, mixed toilets and showers, toilets led stright off the kitchen, other guests loud at night (though not hostel's fault), no keys for room so anyone could go in there.

Liked: A good location, close to Hero's square and the train station . The place was clean, and well kept with friendly staff and on the smaller side (only a few rooms).

Disliked: A bit to far from the center (public transport was needed).

Liked: location was fantastic, near the park and the baths, still in the heart of Budapest. I have staying in many hostels in Budapest along that main street and so it was so nice to have a change. Staff were really helpful and considerate about my uncertanties about when I needed to check out as I had an awkwardly timed bus tripto leave. Didnt take every opportunity to screw me for an extra euro or so, I appreciated that. Dorms were clean and not crowded,only three other people, and had lockers for safekeeping of valuables. Best place Ive found in budapest so far, thanks heaps!

Liked: Its a really nice hostel, its not too big, so its easy to meet people

Disliked: Its kind of far from the city center, about 15 min if you walk.

Liked: it was very close to all the areas we were interested , we were extremely impressed with the receptionist who answered all our questions so well... spent new years in heroes square which was a 5minute walk.... excellent place to spend our holidays... highly recommended

Disliked: it was a little bit chilly in the 10 bed dorm but we survived.... the pillows were very uncomfortable but again we survived...

Liked: This was cracking hostel in a fantastic location, just off from the Hero's Square attraction, and close to both metro and bus routes. The staff were exceptionally helpfull, and provided me with good information on what to see and where to eat. Externally the hostel is not the most appealing, but inside it exuded Baroque charm and sophistication
