CHONG KEAN BOONAll facilities are in good condition. No lift and the hostel is inside the building, good location but dificult to find. No sign, so can easily to miss the hostel. Actually it just doorstep in front of the bus stop and at the corner from the metro exit. Unluckily, My second night was stayed with the girls from Australia and Finland. They talked loudly and ate in the room while the others are going to slept. The room just beside the reception and open at that time, But the rude staff who was on duty at that night ( 2th Nov.) was not take an action to advice them. The t.v still turned on loudly at sleeping time. It seems there is no rule. But overall the facilities are good. |

Manuela GlasbrennerMaverick Hostel is a very clean and nice place to stay, a big plus is also the 24h supermarket downstairs, you can cook your food in the shared kitchen. The bathrooms are the nicest I have so far seen in a hostel. Everything was great except the fact that I put my vallet in a thoughtless moment on the table in the kitchen and a few minutes later all my money was gone. I would have wished that something would have been done about it from the hostel side, as there were only a few guests in the hostel at the time. |

Customer reviewI ask myself this question: Why does lady snore? She should have to fill out form describing snoring patterns. I would even fill out form if it meant for me to have proper placement in non-snoring accommodation. Also, very many older persons. But TV, couch, computer, facilities very nice. Beds comfortable. Peach and chai and rosy hips tea were wery good. |

Customer reviewThe location is great and the building charming. We had a private room which was spacious with a newly renovated bathroom. We had a shared common area with a kitchen, free coffee and tea, and free internet. Would definitely recommend this location. |

Nancy MendelsohnLoved the friendly staff....they were so helpful and personable and seemed to genuinely be interested in you and in sharing about themselves. The facility was in a central location, easy to get around and information available. Grocery store nearby and kitchen facilities. The bathrooms were great and the beds comfy! |

Customer reviewThe Maverick Hostel had one computer for anyone to use. They also had an open WiFi signal which was very nice. The staff was very helpful in finding places to visit as well as booking new trips. |

Gerard McLoughlinThe location, whilst not pretty from the outside, was straight across the road from a Tube station. The transport system in Budapest really is excellent, so you are never too far away from anything if you are near a tube station. The room we had was very clean, modern and comfortabe with an excellent shower and bathroom. If I was coming to Budapest again though (which I intend to), I would be tempted to stay on the Buda side of the city which is much more ornate; but if you want to be in the centre of the city, the excellent Maverick hostel is the place to stay! |

Jai FergusonOne of my favorite hostels thus far. The lobby area is very centralized and cozy, so perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, a short, easy bus ride from the train station yet still in the heart of the city. Single bathrooms and showers and free wi-fi. The beds in the dorm room I was in were quite close together and cramped but other than that, the place was perfect. The apartment/ensuite rooms are also very nice. |
