Liked: One of my best hostel experiences ever! The rooms were spotless, the people were amazing, and the location was awesome. One of the guys working even shared his home-made beer with us. Absolutely superb. I recommend this place one hundred percent.

Disliked: Nothing at all! This place was wonderful!

Liked: Big enough rooms new and very nice toilets. NIce common areas internet, free phone calls. Very safe and secure (watched by cameras) and with many comforts (possibility to cook, make your coffee, fridge).

Disliked: Not discrete cleaning woman (maybe accident).

Liked: Use of kitchen. Secure building and personal lockers available.

Disliked: Can't fault for the price. Some people had issues getting their key deposit back as reception wasn't always manned if leaving at unusual times. I would recommend leaving cash rather than a passport if you have to leave in the early hours.

Liked: The kicthen was very accessible and the floorplan was great.

Disliked: I always enjoy a good free breakfast, but this one didnt have one.

Liked: very nice rooms, very helpful and nice staff, location, good clean kitchen

Disliked: the room was a bit dusty, would have needed a cupboard to hang clothes and a table/cupboard in the bathroom to place toiletries

Liked: I liked the room and the staff great hostel!

Disliked: The floor squeeks alot. While I was trying to sleep my roommate was trying to be quiet bu the floor didnt let her.

Liked: The apartment was nice, and the building was architecturally interesting and beautiful.

Disliked: The taxis cannot stop at the hostel, and the hostel was hard to find. Nevertheless, at the booking confirmation was the needed information about location. I would like to have a chair in my room.

Liked: My apartment was very nice, and the building was architecturally interesting and beautiful.

Disliked: The taxis cannot stop at the hostel. At the departure it was hard to find where the taxi is waiting, the taxi driver didn't know the hostel at all.

Liked: I've been travelling around over 30 countries and this is definitely the best hostel I've ever seen. I like all the receptionists so much and enjoyed sitting with them and talking. So, I decided to stay one more night and then, due to previous arragements, I will have to go to Bratislava for 2 nights. After that, I will get back to Budapest and I willl check in Maverick Hostel once again. Already booked at the reception for 3 more nights.

Liked: Perfect location--in the center of the city with a convenient 24hour store next door. Staff were so friendly and helpful, free linens and towel (which is nice for the baths), social nights on Wednesdays and Saturdays with cool people... just a great hostel.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: It was in the center next to the river and close to the shopping and all the amazing buildings.The staff were really friendly, fun and helpful. It was really clean and well maintained. the rooms were not overfilled with people and it had character. The bathrooms were really good and I never had to wait for one to free up.

Disliked: There were no breakfast provided and i heard from other travelers that i met, that their hostels provided that to them and they were in the same price range. Also the walls are so thin that you can't really converse loudly or even normally if you want to and we had to whisper our conversations in the late hours.

Liked: We had a small problem with the hot water, but it was solved in a few minutes. The staff was very helpful. Nice and clean place to stay.

Liked: Maverick was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The rooms were spacious, well presented, and very clean, more like a hotel than hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great value for money. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maverick and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Budapest.

Liked: Everything!!! The staff was really helpful and kind, the room was perfect, the inside of the building is amazing, you can use the computers in the living room, free coffee and tea, Skype telephone to call landlines for free, palinka night...Also the location is great for sightseeing and going out, it has many night buses and if you go out near Astoria it's 5-10 min. walking.

Disliked: Some problems with the wifi, but we weren´t so much time in the room and also we could use the computers in the living room, so it didn´t matter..

Liked: I loved the layout of the premises. It felt more like an apartment than a hostel. There was a nice common area with tv and computers right next to the kitchen area which made it really easy to meet other people. Wifi was great and the location was great. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Disliked: None really. The posted description made the property sound like a lavish hotel but do keep in mind it is still a hostel..

Liked: renovated and modern decorated place, really comfortable and clean, friendly staff and quite good location

Disliked: it got a little cold at night and couldn't adjust the radiator it would be better if breakfast was included in price because it was really hard to find good meals in Budapest
