Liked: The location is very nice and staffs are always helpful. It is beyond my expectation overally. This hostel is really value for money.

Disliked: There is nothing i dont like in this hostel.

Liked: Perfect location, staff extremely friendly and helpful. I booked a double ensuite - It was perfect, very clean and comfortable and in a beautiful building. Would have paid twice the price and still been happy. Thanks guys - if I come back to Budapest I'll definitely stay here!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The location is amazing, close to metro. The hostel is really clean and has two kitchens. The staff go out of their way to help you. Even when I checked out they helped as if I was still a customer. Amazing customer service!!! Being a backpaper, they helped me tremendously!

Disliked: Absolutely nothing bad to say.

Liked: The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Good location - right outside a metro stop that goes to the main train station. Good quality free tea and coffee for guests was a nice bonus.

Disliked: No complaints - Slight problem with the wifi, but night staff quickly tackled the problem.

Liked: Fabulous location in close walking distance to all of the sites and the metro station. Impeccably clean with helpful staff, a great common room, free internet, tea and coffee and a nice atmosphere. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Liked: The staff at the Maverick were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The Hostel is located in very good location for the centre of Budapest. The layout of the hostel is very much like an apartment, with a kitchen-diner in the centre with the dorms around it. This makes the hostel ideal for socialising with other travellers. As the hostel is literally made of several apartments, one on top of each other within a much lager block, it is very peaceful and you can get a good nights sleep.

Disliked: Although there is an electric locking system to the apartment, the rooms do not have locks. The lockers in the rooms are small and don't appear very secure. It's a shame that the hostel does not do a breakfast. But this said, it is a very good hostel.

Liked: Good was not the best description of this hostel. Excellent was more like it! The staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We had friends visiting us who stayed elsewhere but our hostel invited them to visit with us in the common area. Our friends had flown in from Germany & we were from Canada and our hostel was so central that being able to spend time together there between our sightseeing was wonderful! The hostel offered all sorts of programs and assistance for travellers. They do team building and the owners are a lot of fun as well. This is a very quiet place and is spotless. Easy to get to the major tourist sights. Simply the best place we stayed at on our 5 week backpacking trip in Poland and Hungary. Will be putting this on Trip Advisor so others know this hostel is definitely the place to stay in Budapest.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.

Liked: The staff are very friendly and are great to chat to and you could not ask for better facilities, with a nice comfy communial area in the main lobby as well as outside our dorm upstairs. Many services on offer included cheap pizza ordering and organisation of taxis / transport info as and when required. Highlight of the stay was a free Hungarian wine tasting event which was great at bringing everyone together with a great atmosphere. Well worth a stay. Also - for those that like this sort of thing like I did - our dorm had a massive bath to relax in!

Disliked: Had one morning where there was no hot water for a shower, but this was not a problem on other days.

Liked: The hostel has a very central location, so you can get everywhere in no time. There is a metro-station and a 24h-store close by. The interior is very clean and very nice made with great furniture which gives it a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even had activities you are free to join on almost days of the week. We had a great stay there and would always return, no complains whatsoever.

Liked: This hostel is in real heard of the city. The building is imposant! The staff was kind and helpful. We have stayed in a twin room with a bathroom. There were 4 of 5 rooms of this kind and a common kitchen on the floor. Everything is new and modern. Coffee and especially tee for free were just perfect as I was a bit ill;-) The room was very clean and there was even a free hand soap what is very practical I think:-) This a hostel to stay in if you look for a nice, clean, still and in the centre placed hostel in Budapest!

Liked: Marverick Hostel is the most beautiful hostel I ve ever been! When I arrived here I taught "you have to be kidding me, this is not a hostel" . The place is perfect, and the location couldn't be better! The staff is really helpful and friendly and the bedrooms are really nice! I totally recommend this hostel! If you come tu Budapest you HAVE to stay here!

Liked: Excellent location, good showering facilities for the amount of people in the hostel. Staff were helpful but only when asked about information.

Disliked: Staff were a little patronising at times. Not enough kitchen area including fridge space for amount of people in the hostel

Liked: free internet, excellent location, the building is gorgeous inside and out, the staff are very helpful, friendly and fun. I would definitely return to this hostel on my next visit to budapest

Liked: Great staff, free internet, nice room & bathroom, superb location with the food store downstairs, beautiful building.

Disliked: Would be cool to have separate showers & toilets - there were only two bathrooms in our floor, which was not enough. Some dude hogged one bathroom for himself for 40 minutes during the busiest time in the morning, which was really annoying.
