Liked: It was in a really unique building. i had a great stay. it was very modern and clean and spacious. the staff were great and the kichen facilities were excellent. a very communal feel.

Liked: the rooms were practically brand new. very nice rooms .. the best hostel i have stayed in. better than hotels. staff were really friendly . the location was great and easy to find. but room only had fan, not air con. there are a few selected rooms that have air con, so request first . loved this hostel. will come back

Liked: Owners were great. Threw a party for everyone staying at the hostel which was a great way to meet everyone. Then took us out to a few bars near the hostel.Location is great, very close to all major spots of interest.We had a great time at the Maverick.

Liked: The building and the rooms were perfect and very beautifull. All the services were nice and luxuious. However, I did not like the staff at all, they seemed quite stiff and kept repeating the rules over and over to us, like they expected us to molest our room or do other bad things to their location...

Liked: The double rooms are all on the top floor in an enclosed apartment with it's own lounge/kitchen area, and the building itself is fantastically beautiful. We would have loved to stay longer than just one night!

Liked: I moved out after two nights because i was very ill and there were some very loud, unfriendly, inconsiderate and racist posh girl divinity students in my dorm whom i was about to kill otherwise. If it had not been for them, this may have been the perfect hostel. Very clean, big tv, free tea and coffee, free internet access, laundry service (costs) etc. Beautiful, elegant old building as well.

Liked: Is in the heart of Budapest in a very nice old building but inside everything was brand new. We slept in a brand new appartment. The shower was perfect.One minus, we couldn't open the window in the room. Not because the window was broken or anything but because the window was designed in such a way so you can not open it.Appart from that everything was perfect.

Liked: At first I wasn't so sure about this hostel. It's impossible to find and the loud people in my room were more than obnoxious. But I grew to love it. The kitchen is great.. Beds pretty comfy. Light next to every bed which I unplugged and used to charge my stuff. It's right next to a grocery store, the metro, and very local to downtown. Since there weren't tons of people, it was easy to talk and get to know some of them. It's not a 'party' place but you can go out for that and this had a very friendly atmosphere. I definitely would recommend it to anyone!
