Liked: Not really a hostel, feels more like you're in someone else's 3 bedroom appartment and they're not home (owners are only there when they need to do check-ins or to clean). Nice owners, pretty room, but a long wait for the bathroom with 8 other girls in the other 2 rooms (toilet, shower and sink in the same 1 bathroom). Lots of freedom, kitchen with fridge, microwave, anything you could need to cook. Good place if you want to explore Budapest from your own semi-private place.

Liked: The building and apartment itself was perfect, we could not have asked for anything better. Judit was lovely, friendly and helpful! The hostel is in a prime area in Budapest with lots of things close by and easy to see the sights! We would love to stay here again, absolutely fab!!!

Liked: I really liked this hostel. It is very friendly hostel, it´s rather familiar place. Staff is very nice, kind and helpful. Hostel is also very well located, one can reach everything by foot so one doesn´t need to use public transport too much. I enjoyed my stay there and I would recommend this place to the other travellers to Budapest:-)

Liked: It was my second stay in the Downtown Oasis. Like the first time everything was great. The location is superb, close to the sights, to the metro and buses. It is clean and quiet in the apartment, so you can sleep. It’s definitely an excellent hostel. The receptionist is very helpful and nice.Thanks a lot :-)

Liked: Very nice rooms in a breathtakingly beautiful ancient-style apartment, just a few steps from the Jewish quarter. Very clean place in a perfect location, very warm and helpful staff. Several small restaurants and cafes nearby, banks, supermarkets, metro station, ... The four bed-room goes out to the boulevard (traffic) so you might want to take some earplugs. And the mattresses are not for sensitive backs unfortunately :( Still I definitely highly recommend this place.

Liked: Of the 15 or so places we have stayed in the past two months, this hostel was by miles the best. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the information was great, the location was superb, the facilities were great, it was clean and it was quiet. We loved it.

Liked: This hostel was fantastic. If you want a safe, quiet place to stay in the middle of town, this is it. The hostel is small and gorgeous, it felt just like staying at a friend's apartment. There is only one women that works there who is not there at night but you get your own keys so that you can go in and out as you please. Best hostel experience to date!

Liked: This Hostel is just great, it's a small place (actually it is a flat on the top of the house) and it's very safe, clean and well arranged! Internet is for free and Judit (Owner) is a very nice and helpfull person!

Liked: After staying in some massive hostels on this trip this hostel was a great break. only 10 beds means it's cosy and nothing is cramped. Only wish we could have stayed longer but seems others have heard about the hostel too and book a little further in advance then we did :)

Liked: It's great to find a hostel that does exactly what it says on the box! We booked the 4 bed 'dorm' but it didnt feel anything like a dormitory. Lovely bright colours and a balcony opening right out to the street. A real bathroom and fully equiped kitchen too. Would definately stay here again.

Liked: The best hostel rooms I've ever seen. Calm and quiet place, as it is very small. It is kept very clean and there is 1 bathroom for 2 rooms, so we never had to wait. Location is fantastic and staff was amazig helping us with anything we needed. We will be back for sure!
