Liked: I'd recommend without hesitation. Our room was spacious and clean, and Judit was really helpful. A good hostel to stay at in Budapest.

Liked: The location was excellent- right in the centre. It was very safe and quiet and a perfect place to relax before more sightseeing. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful.

Liked: Judit the owner was so lovely! We had some dramas with flights and arrived two hours late, but she was still there to help me at 2am. The rooms were very large and clean. Its only a very small place with three rooms but great for a short stay. the kitchen was fully equiped and the bathroom was fantastic!

Liked: This was an amazing hostel!! Very clean and cheerful. Only three rooms though so not much chance to meet many others. Kitchen included. Judit was VERY helpful- always asking how we slept and what we were doing that day and if we had any questions to please ask. We ended up staying an extra night here because we liked it so much. Very good location as well. I felt very safe here. :)

Liked: Downtown Oasis was by far the best hostel we've stayed in around Europe. We stayed in a private double. It didn't have many rooms, so they are very attentive to your needs. You feel like you are a special guest in a friend's house.Don't worry, they give you a lot of privacy. It was extremely clean and the room and bathroom was so spacious. The double bed was extremely large and very comfortable!!!!!No need for 24 hour reception, we called the lady and she waited for us for hours until our bus finally arrived. She met us in the morning to help us plan our traveling. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNTOWN OASIS!!!! We wanted to stay in Budapest forever because it was so welcoming....

Liked: Downtouwn Oasis, as its own name said, is a wonderful hostal in the centre of Budapest, just 7 minutes walking far from Erzebet Hid bridge. It's an old fashion building -with a lift, don't worry- with classic decoration, high ceiling and well-equipted. It has 3 private bedroom, and 3 shared rooms. Kitchen where you can keep your food in the fridge, or have a cup of tea/coffee whenever you want. Bathroom and even a living room with an Internet computer, TV and DVD, books and tourism guides... The bedroom is perfect if you want to go with more people. 4 beds, one small table each one... Perfect accommodation.Besides, the owner was a beautiful kind Hungarian young girl who was worried about everything we could need, asking what were our plans every day in order to give us some advices. She recommend us many nice places to visit, and gave us all we needed during our visit to the hostal. Perfect service for a perfect destination.

Liked: We loved the central location of the hostel, it was easy to discover downtown Budapest from there. The hostel itself was nice and clean, comfortable and the staff really friendly. Definitely a good choice.

Liked: This is the second time I've stayed at Downtown Oasis & enjoyed it even more than the first time. It's good to see that the standard of accommodation & facilities is kept consistently high. Judit is an excellent host & takes good care of her guests. The accommodation is always spotlessly clean & comfortable & remains great value. I can't speak highly enough about the Downtown Oasis & look forward to my next visit!
