Liked: Reception was very nice and friendly, very knowledgeable. Location is great. Liked the multiple locks to get into the building, then into the hostel itself. Good wifi, should be locked though.

Disliked: No individual lockers for bags, laptops, etc. Could be cleaner, floors were filthy. Dorm had people sleeping two to a bed, inappropriate for everyone else in the room to have to listen to.

Liked: If you are searching for a very simple place to stay this Hostel will satisfy your request. There is no character on this place and bathroom could be cleaner. Location is great and Oktogon is a safe area to go around even at night. Don't expect more than that...

Disliked: Bathroom could be cleaner. Breakfast could be much, much better...

Liked: It was very cheap and even included breakfast, even though it was very simple (bread, jam and coffee). The location of the hostel is very convenient, being less than 5 min from the Oktogon metro station and walkable from many different attractions in Budapest such as the Szechenyi Baths or the city centre. It is also just off the prime shopping street with famous fashion brands, and there are many fast food stalls nearby. The room and toilet were simple and clean enough to use, though not fantastic. There were guidebooks available for us to plan our stay in Budapest.

Disliked: We had to pay EUR 1 per person to leave luggage there after check-out, though it was just a small sum. The rooms themselves cannot be locked and we do not have individual lockers, though the hostel offered to safeguard items such as passports free of charge. The PC at the hostel could only be used up til 10pm.

Disliked: the bed seems a little old, and the sheet must be more cleaner.

Liked: It is near the city centre and the guys who manage the hostel are very helpful.

Disliked: The inckuded breakfast is only average (only roast with jam and cheeses +coffee) but honestly, I didn'texpect much, as I booked the hostel. The hostel is at a main road so toy hear also the traffic at night.

Liked: The staff was really helpful and nice. The price is as cheap as you get. Overall good quality for what you pay. Would stay there again. Free towel too!

Disliked: The building in which the hostel is located doesn't look safe. The breakfast could be better (only toasts and spread).

Liked: After traveling for 3 months, I found this hostel to be my absolute favorite! Great location, very clean, and the staff is amazing and truly helpful!! There is such a homey vibe at this hostel. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Disliked: Nothing! Not a single complaint.

Liked: it wasn't expansive it was on the centre they offered breakfast it was quiet fon the private room it was a place to eat and a kitchen

Disliked: that the parking it was expansive, but this wasn't their fault (but a good advice about a cheaper parking would be apprecited)

Liked: The stuff was very friendly and ready to help

Disliked: The hostel is on the 5 th floor of a very poor no lift building so go up with your luggage is very tiring... there isn´t a properly common area and the only place you can chatting is the outside area of the hostel but is not so useful since you need to enter at 10 p.m because of the building´s rules...

Liked: The Hostel has a great location really central and close enough to the two out of three train stations! Pete was a great help and really friendly always keeping an eye out and making sure everything was good. I stayed in a 5 bed dorm which was great value for money. The spare towel was real handy and the breakfast was alright.

Disliked: They could use some lockers but the security from the outside is fairly good! Some cereal would be good for the breakfast but beggars can't be choosers and the toast and spreads are free!

Liked: location and price.

Disliked: we stay two day in a 5 bed and one day in a 3 bed room. The 5 bed room look quite old and dirty and the bunk bed is broken, the planks of bunk bed are loose and fall down so many times at night. We informed the staff next day but he just put them back, not really fixed them. So we are still hit by the plank at second night once our friend sleeping in up bed moved. The 3 bed room has only 2 bed. The third person must sleep in the sofa. Not recommend.

Liked: * Very good location * Nice clean room (we stayed in the twin rather than the dorm) , shower room and kitchen in the hostel * Toast and coffee available in the morning, a big plus! * The staff were really helpful and friendly!

Disliked: * Only that it's not that easy to find based on the description given on Hostel Bookers which just stops at Oktagon Square, ask a friendly local to point it out as it's on one of the main roads that joins the square but isn't obviously sign posted!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent location for sightseeing.

Disliked: The only minor downside was the 100 stairs to climb after a hard days walking around the city.

Liked: It was very cheap en our room was really big. We had an own shower and wc. Peter, the owner is a really nice guy!

Disliked: Walking up the stairs was heavy ;)
