Liked: Property clean and tidy. A couple of sockets weren't secure but everything else very good.Very cheap & in excellent location.Staff very, very helpful indeed, although one did say they were glad Liverpool we're knocked out the Champions League, which didn't go down too well !!All in all, very good.

Liked: I stayed in a private appartment owned by the hostel. It is located near Deak Ferenc Square andthe city centre, but you still have all the privacy and peace that you can imagine. The appartment is huge, maybe even too big for only two people. It only seems that they have a bit of an issue with the cleanness. The toilet is leaking, shower cabin is leaking, there are dirty dishes in the kitchen. and since you need to leave 10 euros as a key deposit they could really get a normal key-chain.

Liked: the staff is very helpful and the room is big and clean but the tv was broken but it does not matter there is no time for tv the breakfast is poor but better than nothing

Liked: The hostel is really very good , the staff speak very good english and very friendly,it is very close to train station and also in city center ,i recommend this hostel for travellers

Liked: We liked nothing about this propertyNo alcohol allowed and no common room, how are you supposed to have any fun and meet people.The tv in our room was broken and decided not to replace and fix it.The door was faulty just like all the others.They failed to tell us about the daylight saving time adjustment, how would we know about in HUNGARY!Dont forget there is 3 doors and 3 keys needed to enter our room.

Liked: Very friendly staff....she gives u information and suggestion only for budapest, but also for your next stop of the journey....it impressed me the most!!!! and then the location is just amazing as well....u can reach everywhere so easy...in walking distance.....this hostel is hiding in a old pretty building, and free internet, and good kitchen, but small breakfast!!! i recommend all this hostel!!

Liked: The staff was really helpful and very friendly! What I didnt like about the hostel was that there is no common room and therefore its hard to meet people... But its clean and all in all a place you can stay for a night or two.

Liked: Amazing hostel and staff, though possibly a bit quiet for people who are there just to party. The hostel is a bit hard to find but its got everything you could want (including a bath!). The owner is really friendly and helpful, she even got up to make us breakfast at 4.30am as we had a train to catch!

Liked: Safe clean place to stay but bad kitchen facilites and staff more interested in not annoying 'the boss' than helping people. breakfast particularly poor.

Liked: Caterina hostel has a great location geographically, friendly staff and is good value for money. However, the room i stayed in was very hot which required the window to be constantly open while the road it is on is unbelievably loud!
