Liked: I really enjoyed staying at emma hostel. Great location, friendly staff and people. If I ever go back to budapest, it'll be there.

Liked: The hostel was clear. And the lady who cares about guests (I guess she was the owner the hostel) was very nice.

Disliked: We found only 2 electric outlet in a room for 6 people and both of these outlet were hidden behind the furniture.

Liked: The staff were fantastic! Very helpful and helped us plan our stay in Hungary and even helped us with booking a train to Romania.

Disliked: It was difficult to find from the street because it is just a single door with no big sign. There were a lot of stairs to get to the actual hostel, but it was worth it for the location.

Liked: Brilliant hostel, apartment was so lovely, would love to live in it permanently! Great location and staff, and excellent value for money. Loved it!

Disliked: Only negative thing to say is that if you're interested in meeting new people, not really a chance to as the apartment was on its own, but that didn't bother me at all.

Liked: The location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpfull. They answered all our questions regarding things that we wanted to do in Budapest.Also some nice and young people were staying at hostel.Great value for the money !

Liked: Friendly staff, good kitchen

Disliked: Our private room overlooked the main road and was very noisy. Also beware lack of any sign outside the entrance!

Liked: Location is really good, easy to get anywhere. The place is on the top floor of a building without a lift unfortunately, but once you get up there its very clean and comfortable. The bloke running the place is excellent- very helpful, friendly and considerate. Good restaurants and bars just outside. The free breaky is toast, but its still free.

Liked: The owner was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The place is small, only 3 or 4 rooms. The location was great - within walking distance of the Oktagon (where there is also a metro and tram stop) and Opera House. Breakfast was toast and jam with coffee. The free internet was also a bonus, but there was only one computer, so there was sometimes a wait to get on.

Liked: Comparing price/value the hostel is very good, looking on value only, it's around average. If you can spend more money per night, maybe look for other options. The cleanliness could be better, location and security is ok.

Liked: This hostel was SOOOO much better than the hostel my friends were staying at. It is in the perfect location for the main street of attractions, When I go to Budapest again I will stay at this hostel.
